Destiny 1 just killed Destiny 2
There is absolutely no way in hell after all that I have seen in the 2.5 years in Destiny, and then this patch monstrosity, that I will even consider buying Destiny 2. I may still play this game from time to time, mostly because I have already paid a ton of money for this crap, but this is the straw that broke destiny's back. I have a suspicion that I am not alone in this assessment. Congrats Bungie for ruining your studio's reputation and your franchise.

I'm glad primaries got a buff, but this update wasn't a *true* balance! In this analogy; you can't balance a wobbly barstool that needs two of its legs fixed (Primaries and special) and the repairman (Bungie) only fixes one leg. In this update it's almost like only one leg needed fixing (primaries) which they balanced, but then decided to take an axe to the other leg and ruin shotguns.. I mean, completely removing aim assist from the hip? Hey Bungie, aim assist is an OPTION that belongs in SETTINGS! No one is going to wait until their shotgun is full ADS in order to let aim assist kick in so they can get a fair shot. That was a drastic move. And just look what they did to the poor universal remote.. Just by equipping this primary exotic shotgun, you already eliminate your chances at survival when you happen to engage your opponent at mid range, that's the whole downside to it! It didn't need a nerf. So I whole heartedly agree with your post, I wish Bungie would stop experimenting with this games weapon system and just balance it how it SHOULD be, they know how we want it, they just don't give a shit and want to try things their own way

2 RepliesI'm not quite there but almost. I'm a beta/day one player. The crucible's flow in one evening of playing feels like a completely different game, and not in a good way.

What a crock of shiit that turned out to be. The game is the worst it's ever been, and pve just gets screwed harder with every update. I try to love the game but goddamn they make it hard.

14 RepliesDestiny is still the best feeling shooter out right now, imo. Division is clunky, I dont play CoD, BF1 weapons are the most terribly innacurate trash ever placed into a game, and I cant think of another option worth considering. I will buy D2 because I want more gameplay that feels this polished, the balance issues dont bother me nearly as much as the networking issues.
