Just letting ya'll know I will buy destiny 2 even with shitty content IF AND ONLY IF there is NO P2P CONNECTION. I can bare having terrible limited content eventually to expand into cool content, but the connection needs to be fixed, I find I can't play due to connection. I have fiber optic cables and the most expensive internet I can buy- I expect a game that's so revolutionary to at least have amazing connection. Please Bungie I love destiny, I did all there can in this first one, I can't wait to play the crap out of the second one, just please oh please NO P2P, i want dedicated servers. I don't really care if you disagree cause most of the time if you do, you thrive off P2P lag.
AND BUNGIE STOP LISTENING TO THE COMMUNITY, DO YOUR THANG, I BOUGHT YOUR GAME FOR YOU, EVEN MY POST DON'T -blam!-IN LISTEN, MAKE YOUR GAME STELLAR AND JUST KEEP IT THAT WAY- SCREW THE FORUM COMMUNITY AND STREAMERS- THEY RUINED YOUR GAME
Edit 1:
Did no one read my damn spoiler? I'm pretty much telling Bungie not to listen to us and be them. I fell in love with destiny for what Bungie made, the community made it sour. But hey! Nice to see the damn 97 notifications lol.
Edit 2
You guys suck for giving me 97 notifications
EDIT 3
BUNGIE DO YOU! Bungie I fell in love with the original game and some tweaks from the feedback, don't listen to all of our feedback, you guys know what you're doing, the community didn't go to school for this. Read our reactions and come up with your own please. Love you Bungie!

3 RepliesWell seeing how Bungie has handled this game this last couple years, don't expect much. For me it doesn't matter if they have better servers. It's knowing Bungie become a lazy company and this game has gone to crap. 3 years later and gamers think this greedy company is going to have a change of heart? I'm still wating to see when gamers snap out of this fantasy world they are in because it sure isn't Destiny.

I will not buy if they don't use dedicated servers.
-
My demands for Destiny 2 are much simpler. I just want a f**king coherent story with good character arcs.
-
1.) A PC version, and not just a console port. 2.) Huge vault space, I shouldn't have to ask in a loot driven game. 3.) Dedicated servers. I want to enjoy PvP. 4.) In-game LFG finder for all activities as an option, not forced. 5.) Coherent main story, at least 8 hours long. 6.) Less cut content. I'm not buying DLC that was intended to be in the game initially. 7.) More weapon skins available through in-game progress. Yes, I play CSGO. 8.) Microtransactions continue to be not P2W. 9.) A real sandbox team. <--this one is a little joke, but also not really. I think it's reasonable, Bungie has had 3 years figure this shit out. Destiny has been a public beta test for the past 3 years.

5 RepliesMy conditions are a bit more demanding then yours, if the Activision board of trustees and upper management team commit seppuku on live tv with dna evidence proving they are in fact the people they are supposed to be and not paid stand-ins thats step one. Step two is Bungie paying the players back for beta testing Destiny for them, then make a decision to either (a) charge for dlc with no micro transactions or (b) have micro transactions with NO CHARGE for dlc. Then I will consider Destiny 2, but I would still wait till after release since they absolutely can't be trusted.

Expect the worse hope for the best. Activision just finish the fist quarter. And as such has put pressure on Bungie to coe out with the game on an earlier stage that planned. So this is what you are going to get. BETANY2

2 RepliesYeah, it's getting to the point where gamers aren't going to tolerate anything less than dedicated servers. Look at all the negative reviews for "For Honor" is getting on steam. It's because of one thing really. P2P connections and no dedicated servers. What really makes me mad is that ubisoft and activision and other game publishers won't build dedicated servers even though they're multibillion dollar companies and can definitely afford it.

So if i kiss a dude does that make me gay?
-
I for sure wont buy it if its the sane laggy, buggy, unplayable pvp connection crap. As soon Bungie understands that a legendary hand cannon shouldnt kill me instantly, i shouldnt get cross map one shot by a pulse rifle, etc. while my hit detection isnt working and i need to shoot somebody with a full mag to kill him, im going to buy D2. And NO ITS NOT ME! I have xfinity, a netgear gaming modem, a netduma router attache that shows me how far ppl are from me and how much ping i have to the match host (which never goes above 30-50 ms ping!!!). And i use a benq gaming console screen. So its NOT ME!!

1 ReplyThat's what happens when you post satire posts. No one reads the tags.
-
3 RepliesOh man I'll be patiently waiting to hear from you before I buy it... Lmao, get over yourself.
-
3 RepliesHow do you hide your stats? I also would like to hide my terrible KD.
-
2 RepliesI recommend troubleshooting your connection. I experience a laggy player in maybe one out of 30 matches.
-
1 ReplyNormally I don't have any issues with what your saying, Roque. However, your topic and your spoiler seem to be a bit contradictory. You want Bungie to put in dedicated servers, but yet you are telling them to not listen to the community.... See where I'm going with this? Again man, not trying to be a jerk, just confused.

6 RepliesGood luck

2 RepliesWhen did Destiny expand in to cool content?
-
1 ReplyThanks for letting us know!
-
Agreed.
-
1 ReplyI love the back handed compliments in there. Nice.
-
2 RepliesDedicated servers are no guarantee against lag. They are better , but you still need to make sure you have a proper network setup and a screen with low input lag to get the best out of them.
-
1 ReplyI hear that. Did you see my post on For Honor's P2P?
-
1 ReplyThanks for letting me know! You were the only reason I was going to buy it. But if you have time, please let me know witch way you are going.. (buying or not). So I can make the right choice. Cause YOU AND ONLY YOU. Can give me the knowledge and ability to find a "safe place in this game." I will follow you to the ends of the earth! YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!!!

11 RepliesIf the rumours are true and d2 coming to pc they will have no choice but to put in dedicated servers
-
20 RepliesWow.....big statement. I'm sure rite now there's a team being assembled to give u what u want before a multi billion dollar partnership looses out on your 60 bucks......Yeah that's what's happening. Heres the thing, every day, and I mean every single day there's someone else on these forums threatening bungievision to withhold 60 dollars whilst both parties know they're gonna get your money one way or another. Not only that but you're stomping your feet while crossing your arms telling them to make pvp worse for the majority of players?!? Honestly flower, I truly believe you'd know more about w4anking a donkey than how to improve network architecture. Dedicated servers are not a magic bullet, far from it. For the majority of players lag would probably be worse due to round trip signal time unless you're lucky enough to be in the one percent who lives next door to a server farm. Then matchmaking depending on the geographical restrictions could in theory take minutes......and then you'd be back on here throwing dolly out of the pram/stroller because it's taking too long for you to find a match and you're not buying d3 unless they fix it and the cycle continues...... Go on to YouTube and tell me if there's no lag on a game running dedicated servers....damn straight there is and a hell of alot of it depending on how far the streamer is from the server and how far everyone else in the lobby is from the server. What they have tried to do it make the game accessible to as many as possible, including those with piss poor connections, albeit to the detriment of the overall experience. Your not special flower.....Enjoy the new meta.

3 RepliesI have cable and I am on a mid-priced package. I have no issues with lag. I will get destiny 2 regardless of p2p or dedicated servers. BTW having fiber does not mean your latency will be low. You probably have great bandwidth but can still have high latency. A quick google search regarding fiber latency brings up statements such as these. "Online gaming disconnects and lag with Fiber" " Before switching to google fiber I only ever had an occasional lag spike when gaming. Now, since getting google fiber a year ago, I've had ..." "the lag is so high that all battle.net games are virtually unplayable." "The ping on my previous provider was 11 ms. But now with google fiber its ranging from 24-27 ms" "I am in KC and have google fiber. The majority of games for me are almost unplayable as I am "behind" the majority of time"
