Battlefield 1 vs battlefield 4
Which one do you like more I mostly like 4 better than 1 ? What's your opinion

I'm saying BF1. I love operations and the setting. It's so cool playing in the past versus the present or future. I also really like the maps and can't really find one I dislike. They all play so uniquely though you could say that's due to the small amount of maps. I can't really get enough of operations. The game mode is just so much fun. I love the way it plays and forces you to play through several small portions of the map concentrating the gameplay. I also love how it feels like you're in a war. I like how the weapons just play slightly differently then modern weapons. I also don't mind the chopped down customization as I hated just how long it took to level up anything in BF4 and I didn't really try a lot of weapons due to how long it takes to get the better attachments. I do hate the loading times though. It really kills it when you're spending 10 minutes waiting to get in a game. I will say it's close for me as I like both games and I might just be saying BF1 because it's what I've played more recently but it's taking my top spot between the two at the moment.

But they couldn't at least at different types of grips, different scopes, barrels, stuff that could have been around in that time period? There's like 4 guns on each class with slightly different roles but they're essentially the same and some are just horrible compared to others. Removing your bayonet and changing the reticle is some piss poor customization compared to BF4 which had a ton of customization on vehicles and weapons. The fact that progression is so slow and boring makes the game feel like it gets stale quickly, and the game modes and gameplay can only hold it up for so long. BF4 when it got past its launch, is in my opinion, better. I've only played 4, and BF1 so I don't know how 3, and BC1/2 went down, but from my experiences I would rather play BF4 over BF1. I just never have the urge to play the game as I get bored within a couple of matches. BF4 I could play for hours on end. It had the most customization, probably upwards of 20 guns in each category that DICE made able to feel different from each other.

I liked Battlefield 3 better than both but I think 4 is better than 1. Pretty graphics dont matter to me.

3 RepliesBF1 is not an example of a better game. HardCore is gone....and nobody at Dice knows how to fix it. Vanilla just caters to Snipers with the "OHK" sweetspot that absolutely makes zero sense. It is amazing that after all Battlefields predecessors, that Dice cannot even get a solid game out. And dont even start on the long loading times, crappy game filter and a very poor layout of post game statistics.

Personally I like bf4 better. It's only because it's more open with more interesting vehicles and weapons, but I still love bf1

No character camos, gun customization completely gutted and replaced with a less than ideal system, and progression feels way too lackluster. Rather than challenges to unlock gear, you just hit a level and use currency to buy it. Vehicle customization is in the same spot, as theres only tank kits rather than customizing tanks by the gun.

I enjoy BF1 but in comparison to vanilla BF4, the predecessor takes the cake. Unlike three years ago when Battlefield 4 launched with ample content to keep players occupied Battlefield 1 feels shallow. Once you reach rank 10 in all four main classes, your motivation to keep playing drops off the deep end. While BF1 had a much more stable release than BF4 and included a stellar campaign, it fell short in my personal test of hybrid game (Singleplayer & Multiplayer) longevity. Come for the singleplayer, stay for the multiplayer. Now before you raise those pitchforks any higher, hear me out. I know multiplayer is the Battlefield series' highlight, and while BF4's campaign is sub-par to BF1, it was a leap above BF3's story mode. Either way, we have another month-and-a-half until the first DLC drops and will hopefully rekindle players desire for Great War Carnage.

I'm kind of happy it's this close. I do enjoy BF1. But I wouldn't play it without friends. After all the free dlc and updates. 4 is just an overall more varied and fun experience to me.
