Republicans hate Obama for Obamacare (I'm included) but yet applaud trump when he says he's going to keep key components of it like making ensurance companies cover preexisting conditions and keep kids on their parents coverage until age 26. Excuse me I'm not a hypocrite I say boo to trump on this.
There's other things I find hypocritical about populist Republicans but my point is stop. Yes voting for trump was smart, but don't be cheerleeders. Hold the -blam!-ers feet to the fire when needed and applaud when deserved. Don't give up your standards for someone because of political parties. It's like during the primaries when he said he'd expand libal laws. Common the crowd cheered and clapped like seals about him regulating speech ffs

Not old enough to vote. Wouldn't of voted for him if I could and still have to agree that that's pretty stupid of them. L]ike I think Trump is right to keep them but he did out right lie about ot before and said he wouldn't. Now, if people dont call him out on that he might start going back on his word more and more till it gets to the point of everything he ran on he he turns around. I know that's a worse case but this is a man who changed stances on issues multiple times during the campaign. So it is well in the realm of possibility

Correction: Our whole government and the "unbiased" media are made of hypocrites. I don't care what party someone is in. They are likely to be hypocrites.

2 RepliesWhy is keeping the coverage of preexisting conditions a bad idea?

4 RepliesHe's going to replace it with his own, more open version. He's said this time and time again.

Edited by Commander Tempu: 1/7/2017 3:13:07 AMSo are people with lots of money. Every day some person goes to work for another person who makes money. I would like you to see a doctor for that Jimmy Got Jammed in a can disease OP. Hypothetically Speaking of course you should not care unless you got to vote. Being in a party means the two party system works just like the promises made to make destiny better. Looks good till you actually have to deal with it.

I read the entire thread, and it's official. Not one person here knows what the hell they're talking about.
Including me. Good day.
9 RepliesGotta draw the line somewhere bud. 50% or more people want Obamacare. What do you care if people stay on daddy's health insurance until they're 26? I guarantee your dad pays for yours lol.

1 ReplyHow is making sure a system doesn't collapse make you a hypocrite? Obama already destroyed our medical system with his ACA.

10 RepliesThe hypocrisy that particularly irks me is claiming to be opposed to a large federal government, but not to large state governments. The scope of a government's jurisdiction is independent of its capacity for tyranny. To oppose actions that prevent state governments from infringing on voluntary association is ridiculous, if you give a shit about freedom.

3 RepliesWhat's bad about upholding good parts of Obamacare? And what do you think of populist republicans? And I agree, we should not just not be critical of him. Especially with his EPA and department of energy picks.

6 RepliesThis is why I found Trump to be so dangerous. People blindly following him without holding him to any rational standard.
