2 RepliesEdited by l3LACKxW1D0W: 11/27/2016 11:01:11 PMIt's actually really easy. All these fools claiming you can't are just that. Fools, or noobs. Step One: Go to "Bungie.net" Step Two: Go to the "My Legend" tab Step Three: Scroll to "Gear Manager" and select it Step Four: Use the site (or app) to transfer a year one or two (NOT year 3) Primary Exotic to the character you wish to transfer (note: The exotic MUST be the Mida Multi-tool, Last Word, Monte Carlo, Suros Regime, Bad Juju, Red Death, or Hawkmoon). Step Five: Enter the "Vault of Glass" year one raid mission. Step Six: Complete the raid but be sure NOT to use a Gally AT ALL, and the final hit to Atheon must be by that primary exotic which you cannot unequip. Step Seven: Upon defeating Atheon, complete the jumping puzzle hidden behind the glass throne. Step Eight: This puzzle will take you to a copy of the Glass Throne, after defeating the upgraded gatekeeper here you will spawn Xylar. Step Nine: Defeat Xylar with no member of your fire team dieing and he will drop an item called "Charm of the Idiot-Savant." Step Ten: Use this item and your character will be completely deleted from your current console, and as long as both your X-Box Live and PlayStation accounts are linked to Bungie.net, your character will be waiting for you in your other console assuming there is an empty slot. WARNING: If your accounts are not linked to Bungie.net, your character will be lost forever to Xylar. WARNING: If your other console does not have an open character slot, your character will be lost forever to Xylar.

1 ReplyYour friend lied.

Can't be done. Sorry you are stuck with starting over from scratch.
-
You don't
-
You cant

Hello Enar2, Destiny does not support cross-platform gaming, you are not able to transfer characters between consoles. https://www.bungie.net/Mobi/en/About/Article?id=12219

I was in the same scenario about a year ago. 360 to PS4. You can't transfer.
-
You can't transfer from X-Box to Play Station or from Play Station to X-Box, but you can transfer from 360 to XB1, or from PS3 to PS4.

Edited by Soul_Eater_42: 11/27/2016 12:59:41 AMYou can't. You'll have to do what I did when I decided to transition from xbox 360 to PS4, and start over from scratch. Good luck if you do. As for that friend of yours, I don't know if he told you that, or you somehow saw him transfer them with your own eyes, but it's utterly impossible since Destiny does not support cross-platform transfer, only cross-generation/family transfer.

I wish that what u said was possible. I made the fatal mistake of buying a Xbox one
i recently started playing destiny again but its on ps4 now and i would like to have the same characters and stuff that i used to have when i played destiny on the 360 i know i had a friend transfer his characters a while back how do i do the same
Your friend did no such thing because it's not possible.

You can't...
-
This is Satire right? But if this is the odd chance someone's serious you can't transfer characters between platforms.
-
no offense.. but i can't believe this is actually a serious question
-
You can't.
-
You can't and neither could your friend. You can only transfer Xbox 360 to Xbox One.
-
You can only transfer a character from last gen to current on their respective platforms. So PS3 to PS4 or 360 to XB1. You can't transfer a Live account to PSN or vice versa.

Hey there, Unfortunately, this transition is not possible as Bungie does not support Cross Platform sharing or transferring of any sort. Sorry about that.
Death is not The Sickness unto death. ~ Soren Kierkegaard
You cann't. Characters are locked onto the account they were created on and will not move to another.
