READ THE DAMN MODIFIERS!!!!!!
Why does nobody read the goddamn modifiers in the Heroic play list? This week has void burn. That means USE VOID WEAPONS. They deal double damage in void burn modifiers.
Don't give me any bullshit like "I play how I want" all you're doing is being a burden to your team by not gearing correctly to do as much damage as possible. I'm sick of being matched with idiots that are too goddamn lazy or too ignorant to equip an optimal loadout.
TL:DR: READ THE GODDAMN MODIFIERS!!!

3 Repliespeople don't read those cause they don't care, nobody changes weapons around when they have a favorite that works for them ! plus doesn't make much difference when your light level is equal to the playlist ! you should thank those idiots ! all it takes 2 to fire with void weapons to drop too much health from the boss and get surprised with multiple waves of enemies !

2 RepliesWhat if people don't have effective void weapons and would rather use other weapons they are good with. Just because the modifier is a burn doesn't mean the burn is the best choice

6 RepliesLol it really does not matter. Yesterday I was playing strikes solo and got the omnigal strike. I was using Bladedancer, only void Item I was using was a void LDR. Was getting punched and shot at by a titan and warlock using void subclasses. I presume because I was using Bladedancer. I finished the match with 150 kills and they both had 70 each. I think that proves it.

Or don't pay attention and let the boss who shoots void openly shoot u while shooting enemies and not hide and shoot. Or runs in charging into a group of Acolytes shooting void. I had the same in a njght fall run, no solar weapons. I u don't have the gear maybe don't run it??!

I can't fathom why someone wouldn't use the correct stuff just to make getting through the strike faster. Based on some of the comments they are of the I must be offended crowd or trolls possibly in the minority those who genuinely can't stand being told they have been doing something wrong and must defend there imaginary videogame pride. ' just use the right stuff make your time and those around you have a more smooth and pleasant run.

Has anyone suggested getting a group together outside of Bungie matchmaking? I mean, that's the inherent drawback of matchmaking, you don't get to pick your team, and there's an easy solution.

Lol! That's funny, I totally did that yesterday. Spawned into the wretched eye at the end and started plugging him with my Ghorn. Took me about 5 seconds to realize it was void burn. Switched to my Talesto and Zombie apocalypse. Got her done quick. But I felt like a total ass at first.

Funny how I used Sunsinger and out shot a 390 and a 380 at 365 by almost double the kills in the heroic playlist.

I think you have to consider other factors too, like maybe people dont have a legendary of every element brought up in light high enough yet? Most dont want to waste exotic shards just so they can use x exotic for this weeks strike playlist? Not using the corresponding damage isnt the end of tue world lmao. Hell I even dont match my subclass sometimes. For example defender was working better than sunbreaker in the shield bros last week with solar burn

Did 15 strikes last night with a friend every scrub we played with had a ghally and no void weapons and died 10x each strike. I really enjoy 2 manning a strike.

1 ReplySometimes people need a day or so to get light levels up on a new set weapons for the weeks burns. My highest weapons are always set up from the last burn. It doesn't pay to run my lower weapons because I need my drops as high as I can .
