Yeah wait to try to do archon forge and you have to get a hit in the boss and they drop down an insta kill the boss on your offering
Instead of just hitting him with a primary so everyone can get credit

Crap I did not know this, I've been dropping in through the opening kinder egg with a relic axe to kill the boss ASAP, didn't realise I was risking others not getting a drop...will cease and desist from now on! :s

I always toss a grenade into the opening the second it is wide enough to get some hit markers before the asshat has a chance to jump in and insta kill it.

That's not how archons forge works. I got the sniper yesterday without touching the boss.

Yup it's always been like that in destiny you get credit if your in a fireteam or you get one bullet on the enemy So if you are trying to get captains on venus the just hit them once

Well I never noticed that and I've been playing since Alpha lol. Well now I feel bad because I usually just insta kill the boss before the ball thing is even open.

So far I have only gotten rewards when I drop in shoot them and hop out I make sure I don't kill so for me it's been 100% Now you can get other rewards or if your in a fireteam Most scrubs forget the fireteam bond
