Stumbled across a two man fireteam on heroic strikes. The whole time they were sitting down and not doing anything until I received a message from one of them saying "Leave". I didn't reply and I left because I didn't wanna waste my time. But the question is why do people do this? I was just trying to raise my light level. I was the only one who was actually doing something. And it wasn't the omnigul strike, I doubt they will be farming for something on the cabal strike.

6 RepliesI like to chill in a corner jumping up and down to avoid afk kick in strikes. I watch a movie and just keep tapping jump
-
5 RepliesI've seen this exact message. "Leave." I always reply the same... "Since you asked so nicely, no." If someone says right away they are trying to get a buddy in there, no problem. Basically, don't act like a douche.

2 RepliesI enjoy the finger wag emote too much now, creates many tears. We need a wind-up middle finger.

4 RepliesSince ROI, I've noticed strikes have gone to hell. People getting really stupid and running into a crowd of enemies doing arc damage, tbagging when you die (even though you die significantly less than them), sitting down or just doing nothing. The ones i love are the low light level tring to speed rush strikes. They run ahead and die so you have to respawn, just for them to rush ahead and keep dying. Ive never understood this. Skipping through nets you less engrams, blues have a chance to decode into legendary gear, which can be used to jack up your light. In one sitting, 20 blues turned into 12 legendaries. Went from ll 352 to 365. People are really dumb.

The only reason i get triggered in strikes is because my teammates are so retarded when there is 1 dreg like 10 miles away they will go after it first and then come back for me, then when they die I T-Bag them and do taunting and rude emotes.
-
I would have stayed. I here to do strikes and that's what I'm gonna do. They can leave but I'm gonna finish the strike.

Shiiiit, I woulda been like eyyyy Mami have a seat

3 RepliesEdited by FrenetiCreature: 9/26/2016 8:48:57 PMI would've sat down next to them, while I reported them both over and over again. I dropped in to one with a team of two. It was at the tank part of Valaus Tu'arc (or however you spell it). They kept trying to kill me with sparrows and the cabal vehicle things. I just hopped on my sparrow, so they couldn't hit me, while I reported them a bunch of times until they finally decided to stop. I'm guessing the reason I dropped into that, is because they got the last person to leave. I guess they didn't realize they were trying to f**k with someone who is probably about the most stubborn, bull-headed SoB you'll ever meet. I would've sat there for hours on end, just to prove a point. You're trying to get me to leave? How much time you got bud? I'm disabled and only work part-time, and that's not until this weekend. So... I plan on laying here on my couch for the next 8 hours anyway. Whether I'm running strikes or messing around with you, I'm still entertained. As a matter of fact, pissing you off is more entertaining anyway. Lol

2 RepliesWhen that happens I will just continue on and beat the strike. I prefer solo runs tbh.

3 RepliesI did the omnigul strike today and was asked to leave to give room this "his friend". They guy said please so i did. Got the feeling it wouldnt have been a pleasant strike if had refused. Still...i dont really get it. Is it not possible to start that strike from the map with your own group? If you wanna play with your friends why use matchmaking and then ask ppl to leave?
-
4 RepliesI would have just moved forward to the next check point and died, pulling them forward, just to irritate them.
-
3 RepliesThey were probably waiting for a friend to join them. They could have been more polite about it. Is it really that hard to type out "Can you leave so our friend can join?"

Yea I woulda just sat there with them
-
Maybe they wanted their friend who got kicked to join? Idk you should have told them to leave
-
4 RepliesOften times I'll end up getting disconnected from the game during a strike with my friends, and they will do this so I can rejoin them and not miss out on the strike due to bungies shit servers. (I'm hard wired in to my internet and still get DCed). So my guess is that they were doing the same.

6 RepliesPeople I hate in strikes: The afker the guy with the sparrow who keeps ramming into me Wait? I'm supposed to stand in the glowing white circle? What's a gun? Who's the enemy? The guys shooting me, or you? Seriously. So many people in this community that just... *growls*

Perfect time to flip the controller over, keep walking in a corner, and pop open Netflix on another device. "I've got time to kill, fools."
-
The people I hate per strike: All strikes: Those who do nothing Those who run up to the boss Those who won't stop inviting me to the party or to the game even though we are in the same damn game Those who die in two seconds The Nexus: People who stay in the spawn area Devil's Lair and Dust Palace: Those who drive their sparrow all the way to the first objective instead of stopping at the refinery entrance in the rocketyard/elevator in the Dust Palace Omnigul: Those who don't get what Arc Burn means Wretched Eye: Those who run right into the ogre
-
Probably want a friend to join
-
I had 2 guys hang back on the entire wretched eye strike and then when we got to the pit, I paused to pop a 3oC and they pushed me down into the pit and pointed while they stayed up top. I used the finger wag emote that says "no,no,no" and I just sat down til they both left.
-
I would've replied and told them to leave, so the game would matchmake me with someone else.
-
3 RepliesI'd like a vote to kick option.
-
1 ReplyI've got to agree and also not sure why. They either seam to be tossers or playing with two left toes.
-
5 RepliesOh dude, if I got a message like that I would have never left. I would have been punching them, throwing nades at them. I would be such a pain in the ass, they would have left!! After that I would probably message them with "Hey!, where you 2 assholes go?" I would send that message to them for about 3 days, every hour. (Ok, I wouldn't do it every hour, but 3 days would be good)
-
I wish that would happen to me, I love soloing strikes.
