Stop cheesing oryx
Tired of ppl asking for two titans you can do the entire raid without a titan you don't need a touch of crap a sniper can out dps a touch any day . You don't need supers to do the raid I don't get why ppl wait for super biggest waste of time . My have my own raid team but i like to raid a lot so i have to use lfg.

Essentially, you're saying "Stop wanting to do the end boss in the most efficient way possible, start artificially enhancing the difficulty and start stacking the deck against yourself" which is preeeeeeetty much the dumbest thing I've read today. But in the LFG world, everyone learns how to do the raid. This is the way everyone is doing the raid. If you'd like to see some groups run it differently, create your own group and say something like "LFG HM ORYX, Want to try different strats" Then mention how many completions you have (I thought I had a lot at ~130!!) People will join up.

This cant be a serious post. Not one point you made is "cheesing", Touch was designed and made for the raid, and two Titans in mid is just a very streamlined strategy.

11 RepliesToM isn't cheesing, it was designed so Raiders can complete the raid faster. And with the exotic perks, as mentioned, it does more DPS than snipers. So a gun specifically designed to do the raid faster isn't cheesing the Raid. It's doing it exactly as Bungie intended you to do it.

You've ran this raid enough times to know that some people need all the help they can get. Of course at 335 any weapon is viable, but to say supers are unnecessary is a little ridiculous. Supers and proper equipment make everything smoother.

Also, ToM has more DPS than a sniper because it has unlimited bullets doing double their base damage. It's not necessary but it is most definitely a valid requirement. And [i]not[/i] using supers makes it take longer. Bigger waste of time to not use them.

4 RepliesThe difference between a Sniper and a Touch is easy. Never ending ammo on the Touch. =) Want me to shoot 2 Orges on a Plate with a Sniper I will, You want me in the middle with a Bubble and a Touch I'll kill all 4 just the same. Personally I say do the Raid the way you want to do it, however I still think its up to the team to decide the Strat and to make sure it just gets done.

21 RepliesThis is similar to requiring G-Horn in year 1. You don't need it, it's not cheesing either. It just makes things a whole hell of a lot easier. Some people, believe it or not, don't want to try 27.4 times to kill oryx, just because someone wants to do it their way and use like eyasluna or something. And honestly, if you're doing the raid you should have ToM, you literally are guaranteed to get it from doing the raid. And I don't know any part of any raid where you would use a shotgun other than Oracle's, running the sword on crota, or the relics at the beginning of Kings Fall. You really shouldn't be using a shotgun on oryx, whether you're plates, runner, or add control, you should have a sniper.
