Monte Carlo yr2
I recently recieved a yr1 Monte Carlo and was wondering if it is worth it for me to spend the legendary marks and get the yr2 version? I hardly ever use auto rifles to be honest and I almost exclusively do pve. Thanks in advance for any advice.

My favorite weapon in year 1 and 2. Only been flawless 4 times and the first 2 were with Monte Carlo. Love the small sight on it, seems really easy to keep it locked on someone's head. Doctrine little better but no where near as sexy as Monte Carlo.

Fire rate is decent but the damage is meh, red death and bad Juju outperform it perks and damage wise. The only use for Monte Carlo is this week CoE with melee bonus, shoot the ultra and smack those adds, I tried it in PvP ( I'm not the best in PvP BTW) you need to land your every bullet and strafe a lot in close range and watch out for those shotgun slides

More fun than I thought it would be actually , got it at expansion due to Xbox one was a min AR user but found it pretty good in PoE. I'd get it if you have the marks its a you never know give it a try weapons and pve is more forgiving for playing around with different weapons! I've also found that once I bought all the vender weapons I liked I have an excess of legendary marks these days esp if you do the historics everyday.

It's a good gun, been doing a lot if killing with it in IB. I like it and it's perk isn't bad either especially of you have low strength. But yeah if your not a fan of ARs then I wouldn't, wait till one drops as a nightfall reward or decodes from an engram.

If you use AR's it is a good one. Very good to be honest. If you are not an AR person though it isn't likely to convert you.

There's plenty of good legendary ARs out there that you will come across for free.Or you can get a Carlo via 3oc keep your marks for something you really want .
