Universal Remote is becoming the Thorn of year 2 PvP. Midas Multitool is a close second (though I liked it before it was popular).

Sorry but those don't have DoT. Thorn was two shots and walk away.

Not even close, Thorn was a two shot headshot across the map or a quick three tap to the body.

Its just a shotgun that has ammo... easily countered like any other shotty

Lol nothing could compare to the pre nerf thorn in taken king. A three shot body shot at any range with a dot associated with each bullet, coupled with a guaranteed luck in the chamber at last bullet, it was literally called "cancer of the crucible". The uni does feel a little OP and overused, but it nowhere near the horror the thorn once was.

It's certainly not as bad as Thorn but I've seen more people using it lately. It's range is a bit much...

But it is a shotgun with some pretty niche perks. They cant nerf anything too much about it without making it another useless exotic. It is probably the most used gun in destiny, but nowhere near having anything as too much. It is by far my most hated weapon, thats for sure.

Wrong. It's used around 4% of the time in this IB. making it the 3rd most used primary

Im not saying it is the MOST used weapon. But I feel it is overused. Out of all the guns one could use, the UNI is in the top 3. 4% may not seem alot, but that means literally 1/25 of the entire community is dedicated to that gun, which is substantial. That goes for the last word as well, while MIDA is enormous. But the uni does feel everywhere and its a little ridiculous at times. The last word? Not a problem, counter it with almost anything at a little range. Mida? Get a hard hitting scout rifle, fusion, sniper, etc. But the UNI? You must RUN so you can enough time to kill the user at a distance. But it can be a giant annoyance when you are being dogged by a shoulder charging titan with it. The boxed in maps are also not helping when dealing with the uni. Itll just take me time to get used to countering the uni, but man is it annoying to contend with.

Ugh been killed by Universal Remote way too much, even from distances I think are not possible for a shotgun.

Really? Because according to the stats, it's used by around 4% of the people playing IB. So if you're getting killed by it alot, look at your radar

Just gotta practice on keeping your distance. That's what gets me the most. If I miss my first shot, it'll take 1.13 sec before I can fire the second. Enough time for you to kill me. Distance is my enemy
