can you stop with the armour and give me a longbow already
Surely a Longbow in 60 something packages is a high chance right? looks like it isn't
It's probably made worse by the fact people who don't even use snipers in pvp get one in their first 10 packages but you're still grinding 60 packages later having got -blam!- all.

Edit 2: a few people suggested equiping lower light gear. I tried that but someone mentioned 2 minutes before opening so have to try that.
edit 3: I have started equiping my Felwinters sniper before opening packages. From my first Crucible package I got a Tao Hua Whateverthe-blam!-itendsin and a DO shotgun. also got my 7th Grim Citizen. Seems to be helping
Edit 4: Y1 weapon is definitely working, just got two special weapons back to back from crucible and DO. Seems to only work if you use it for the majority of the rank up though.

2 RepliesSimple fix. You either opened the spirit bloom chest or you didn't wait for your entire fireteam to open their vanguard packages at the same time. Its guaranteed that way.

I know right tell me why my crucible rank is 145 and still no longbow, but get and LDR, on my first vanguard package I open after the April up date wtf rng gods hella hating on me right now ugh!!! I'm never gna get a longbow wtf!!!

The R stands for random, meaning the chance that you get an LDR/longbow are low. The N stands for number, 1 or 0, which makes up the gauntlets you keep getting. And G stands for generator the thing determines your reward. I hope I cured you!

When you rank up, you get to choose between a weapon OR an armour package. :o *mind* *blown* Both would have a guaranteed item, and possibles of ships, shaders etc (like sterling treasures). I know, I know. That's crazy talk. Could never happen ... Far too simple a solution.

I average 3/10 longbows when I open a pack so unlucky m8 however the rapier that has forever eluded me. ( btw I play a lot of crucible so I open a lot of packs :) )

Dude, Ive literally received only armor (except one trash fusion) from about 12 crucible ranks. Wth?

I've only gotten one after leveling up like 20 or 30x. And I still haven't had a LDR drop for me yet.

Edited by Stari: 6/23/2016 1:26:38 PMI leveled Crucible around 40x from the last expesion pack with all my characters and i keep getting armor for 90%. Didn't get ANY ship and i'm around Crucible Rank 120 with all 3 characters. Vanguard around 30x and also getting armor for 80%.

Same here ranked up 40 levels with crucible 80 % gear and 20% ships my friend never plays crucible ranked up once BAM longbow with snapshot hiddenhand and then he dismanteld it because it had not had firefly on it REALLY

I've yet to get one too and both of my LHF have been crap rolls too. (No LDR yet either lol and only one shadow price) All. Armor. All the time.

I have two longbows. One with grenadier and firefly with snapshot, the other with hidden hand, eye of the storm, and snapshot with longview slr10.
