Edit2: OK this is my bad I should have stated this originally in my post, since some people don't seem to recognize the bounty An Unknown Patron. It was supposed to be the bounty to get the fate of all fools, but since bungie only gave that gun to that one dude who I think had a terminal illness, the bounty was never released. I left it in my post because it was one of the cooler things I think bungie has done ( IMO ) and in case anybody wanted to reminisce about that as well ;-)

Oh yeah! Thorn was my first exotic bounty. Super Good Advice was the easiest, imo.

I did the crucible parts of thorn, invective and bad juju simultaneously... As a hunter.

After doing all of them, id always have an invective and/or bad juju bounty active. I considered them to be passive bounties that would be completed just by playing the game. Free exotic shards

Took from launch till the weekend of house of wolves for a light in the dark to drop for me (old account that was lost when I went to next gen) plus only playing weekends made it difficult to get anywhere god I miss that gun

Now, obviously, we're doing them again for LDR and what-not, but I still think these would be a good idea. Exotics have become a little meh with the 3oC imo.

1 ReplyI tried ever day to get thorn yes thorn but this is vanilla when it was shat so yeah.. but I liked it's concept so, everyday I would do all bounties on all characters never got one till dark below and suprise suprise no fricken thorn so I chose bad juju I later got thorn bounty a few weeks later I waz a cool kid before you all nerds Jk...

I like the randomness of them. I also remember being pissed when I dismantled two raid fusion riffles only to find out they didn't count towards the 10.
