Edit2: OK this is my bad I should have stated this originally in my post, since some people don't seem to recognize the bounty An Unknown Patron. It was supposed to be the bounty to get the fate of all fools, but since bungie only gave that gun to that one dude who I think had a terminal illness, the bounty was never released. I left it in my post because it was one of the cooler things I think bungie has done ( IMO ) and in case anybody wanted to reminisce about that as well ;-)

I especially remember using the Word of Crota to finish the void kills part of light in the dark, it was not fun.

I had know idea what they were so I searched them online and at the time I really liked hand cannons and chose "a light in the dark". If only I knew what I was getting into. The only void weapons I had was a shotgun and a zombie apocalypse! After two days of blood, sweat, and tears in the crucible I was ready to move on. I soloed the phogoth strike (camping in shieker room) and finally the [b]Thorn[/b] was mine! That was the hardest I ever worked for something in Destiny and it felt good!!! Edit 1: I was a hunter.

The thorn bounty was a piece of work. At a time when I didn't do crucible and had only a defender Titan and no void weapons. Punches and grenades for daaaaaays. The gun is beautiful so it was worth it. Looked like a hand cannon a big ol' Titan would use.

Thorn was -blam!-[u]i[/u]ng ass to get on a hunter, I used a blue fusion and the highest rate of fire machine gun. This was during tdb, so fusions were also ass.

if i go to shattered coast on Venus. by the big statue. go into the little room (where the enemies in this area spawn from ). there is still the damaged lost ghost (was for the mission for Pocket Infinity) for my Titan. doesn't matter how many times i collect it, everytime i come back it is there. i think it was because i got that bounty (already had 1 pocket infinity) and never did anything with it.

1 ReplyI remember finding the exotic Damaged Ghost which pops up in the game feed. It was pretty early on in the game too. A couple people in my patrol lobby messaged me asking where it was and what it was.
