Move your router if you have to. The difference is like night and day. For some reason Destiny is very sensitive to using wifi... I went from red barring every match with 15 download 5 upload speeds to perfect green bar and zero lag every single round... I cannot express how much of a difference it is. If you are having issues with red barring, switch to hard wired now.

1 ReplyBungie servers dude

My WiFi works great, I hardly ever see any lag, and I am always green. I do have fairly expensive modern equipment though, so maybe that is why.
-
I use wifi and I green bar 90% of the time. The beauty of charter spectrum
-
I use wifi and almost never red bar.... really depends on your connect, your modem, and your router.
-
Or consider this, your internet is shit.
-
WIFI loses internet packets, wired doesn't have as big of a problem
-
You meet a lot of red bar in online gaming and then find out they're tethered off 4g. They act like it's good enough and their poo doesn't stink.
-
I've been playing on wifi for the last couple months and had zero problems
-
Can only play on wifi . When i plug in the cable i keep getting marionberry . Game wont even start

5 RepliesDon't feel bad about people who don't understand that an invisible signal that bounces around is infinitely inferior to Wifi . Wifi and gaming is a punchline to a good joke . P.s. Hard wired everything is always better just less convenient . If someone is using a hard wired controller vs. A wifi controller the hard wired controller is always faster too . Also if a really fat person walks between your modem And ur xbox while ur in trials you will definitely red bar for 2.2 and create a lag wave

Go to hell.

2 RepliesAll right let me just call up my cable company right away to have a wire going from my basement to my room. On the second floor. *ignores poster and continues to red bar*

11 RepliesWhat if I WiFi Hotspot from my cell phone?

I've used an Ethernet cable forever, best

8 RepliesIf you can't get a wired connection, you can try out the power network adapters, they plug into your power supply and put a network connection through that... The router connection and ps4 have to be on the same circuit but its worth a try.
-
Well yeah. Wifi tends to throttle the speed
-
Actually when I used my wired connection to my router upstairs, it's worse than using wireless to the main router downstairs
-
My router us beside my ps3
-
Okay I'll use my phones 4G.
-
BT Infinity WiFi. PS4 on 1st floor, router on ground floor. Green bar every time.

6 RepliesUpload and download doesn't determine connection........ Ping people
And yes, wired is better.
I pay like 4 or 5 bucks for 28 mbps. Maybe it's because I don't have a shitty provider, but I do fine.
-
I tried, but my dick got stuck in a toaster
-
You don't understand how any of it works do you?
-
My 150mb wifi understands. Noob :')
