What is the BEST Halo?
It's definitely Reach. Good controls, mechanics, maps, gamemodes, gameplay, story, and pvp and pve content. You can't deny

8 RepliesLet me guess, you're 16 and reach was your first halo? Worst mp (well maybe not worse than 4), bad campaign, but had great forge and tons of content. Halo reach didn't feel like true halo. Yes it needed to evolve but it was so casual and had crappy unbalanced mp that I didn't even play mp... All I played was customs and firefight. My ranks go: 1. Halo 2 2.Halo 3/5 tied 3. Halo Wars 4. Halo REACH 5.Halo CE 6. ODST 7. Halo 4 I've been playing since 2002, how long have you?

5,2 for competitive multiplayer... 3 for customs, 5 too if they add a better file share..... 1,2,3 for campaign... 1 is the most nostalgic, when I visited my friends the first time and saw halo, I bought an Xbox the next day. Lol and I'm a Sony pony :)

IMO from best to worst. Halo 3 Halo 2 Halo ODST Halo Reach Halo CE Halo Wars Halo 5 Halo 4 I was tempted to not even put halo 4 and 5 on this list, because they are far from true halo games. [i]"But what about halo wars?!"[/i] I hear you ask? Yeah, it wasn't made by bungie but it still managed to keep hold of the magic that I loved in the originals. It's like The Wolverine, a spin off done pretty well

Halo 4 for story Halo 3 multiplayer more or less the custom games Enjoying halo 5 mp but that might be cause there hasn't been a good one in years

Without a doubt, Halo 2. It has great multiplayer, a fantastic campaign, not to mention it completely changed the face of console shooters forever.
