Two Games Have a Baby...
Title.
Choose two games to have a baby and that resulting creation is the game you wish Destiny was. Because let's be honest, Destiny isn't the game it should have been.
My two picks: Diablo & Skyrim. (Core concepts and keep the FPS of course.) Loot game and the freedom. Damn.

1 ReplyBorderlands and Skyrim. I'd like to see the customization of your character from skyrim, both fighting styles (borderlands shooting and Skyrim sword fighting/archery). I'd honestly prefer not having either shouts or special abilities but that's probably just me... open world like Skyrim, humor from Borderlands though sometimes serious like Skyrim. Also enemy variants from both. I don't know exactly what the middle ground is for the world between these two games but it wouldn't work if it wasn't in the middle. Example: imagine guns in Skyrim. I don't mean Fallout. I mean guns in Skyrim, shooting dragons with sniper rifles, taking down daedra with SMGs... it just doesn't sit well with me haha I don't know how this would work exactly but all the pieces are there.

Here's what I would love to see 1. A Doom and Halo Crossover where the 2 separate universes somehow intersect and Doomguy meets Master Chief and they fight the enemies from one another's game. 2. I think if Warframe and Borderlands somehow had a baby I would be so pleased. Imagine if all the frames from Destiny were in an open world universe like Pandora and all the weapons from Warframe and Borderlands met in one science fiction universe with the same co op gameplay featured in both games. Also Warframes extensive character customization system like modding is some of the best character creation I've ever seen.

The last of us meets DayZ. The great story and gameplay of Last of Us combined with the open world aspect and straight up survival mechanics of DayZ would make all the ejaculatory fluid exit my body

Gears and Halo make the new DOOM. Which is awesome. Halo-like gameplay with a lot of gore.
