I was playing beta and I started my first character as a titan that was human and looks like a knight of the round table. I then discovered warlocks and my fondness for burning things kicked in. I was playing my sunsinger with sunbreaker gauntlet in the cosmodrome when I first saw a Fallen Captain and felt so good to destroy the little bastard with flames. Even today I love my Titan for strength but my warlock for the flames of knightly justice!

Popping a defender bubble in front people using rockets at the loot cave. Knocking people off the ledges in raids, still do it today. I think the best part for year two was taking a guy through his run on a raid, and at warpreist and telling him you have to start it by jumping into the orb, he tried it twice.... But I did stick around at sisters for an hour to help him learn jumping platforms.

2 RepliesVanilla. When I first played a raid it was great, on confluxes and I was a noob that didn't know anything and at the same time sucked. We were losing control on the left and I was the only one left on the last wave, I started panicking as there was 2 minotaurs and many others coming for the conflux so I was a little chatty and may have been losing my shit. When I was out of primary and there had been a lot of things sacrificing, I hear "I got you don't worry." Then a Titan comes from the middle of my screen screaming down and smashes everything there and then it was time for legions seconds later. This player who helped me through such a long time ago was kind enough to let me into his clan. We still play today, almost every day; Even while the clan may be going through some rough times. THOSE were the moment(s) that make destiny fun, THESE are the moments that make it worth it.

The moment when I switched from 360 to ps4 over the summer and my first exotic on ps4 was hawkmoon while none of my friends that I had been playing with had it. They didn't want to talk to me for a little bit.

14 RepliesI was level 22 running the daily story( the Ishtar Collective mission I believe, to where waves of harpies and goblins and hobgoblins and minotaurs come in) I had no one to run vault of glass with, and the only way I could level up was vanguard tiger or running the daily.(at that point in time) Anyways, I was at the ending and died by an axis hobgoblin so I had to redo it. I killed an axis hobgoblin(the one that killed me before I think) and I received my first ever legendary engram. It was a special. I was determined to beat the mission then, and so I did. When I went back to the cryptarch to decrypt it I thought nothing of it. However, when I did I saw at the bottom of my screen a grimoire card was unlocked and I looked up and saw I had gotten my first exotic! Icebreaker :) After I got that I was able to do better and run vault of glass and other stuff. Getting that Icebreaker was the moment my destiny experience changed, for the better!

Getting VoC! then realizing it had full auto. What a beast! Struggling to find etheric light to use on it. I used it until it was rendered useless....
