Hunters are not to blame for your petty nerfs.
Before we begin.
I main a warlock (look at playtime for proof), I deleted my titan and made a second hunter because I was missing a lot of hunter gear.
(Had all titan gear, still do)
Will make another titan once I'm 320

Let me start out with you titans.
Sunbreakers were extremely op, they broke all the rules of a mobile super.
They had golden gun range (with more shots, blade dancers health regen, warlocks super duration, and stupidly high armor buff.
They also had tracking proximity hammer and the ability to survive a high impact sniper and golden gun shot (a super that trades armor buff for raw damage)
On top of that you can move just as fast as blink with better control active.
If you think that this was OK to have on 1 character than that right there is a problem.
And it was not just hunters wanting this nerf, it was hunter, warlocks, and smart titans.
The only players that tried to defend this super were players that barely excel in pvp.
Even Luke Smith himself pointed out that the he was excelling a bit too much with this super.
So are hunters truly to blame?
And wait just a minute?
Who was the class that constantly complained about blink, leading to a nerf?
It couldn't be warlocks.
And I also believe that hunters received a blade dancer nerf way before sunbreakers did.
And sunsingers received a nerf before destiny could even see 2015.
So why is it that you titans are making such a big fuss? You don't see warlocks and hunters bitching about their past nerfs.
And what's funny is you titans are crying so much that you failed to see that your [u]other 2 subclasses[/u] recently received a buff. Hunters and warlocks haven't gotten this at all.
And to top this off you guys are receiving the best year 2 gear.
And you get a jump maneuver that can be used on all 3 of your subclasses.
So why the salt?
Why blame hunters?
When it was going to happen anyway?
As for weapons.
There shouldn't be a single weapon meta.
You want to avoid weapon nerfs?
Stop constantly trying to cling to the new overpowered weapon.
Shotguns were annoying.
Pulse rifles dominated everything.
Pick one weapon you enjoy, and stick with it.
I guarantee you will still excel in pvp.
Hunters are not to blame.
Nor warlocks or titans.
Bungie records data, they then use said data to determine what needs adjusting.
So please you players that feel the need to blame hunters.
Do the forums a favor and swallow a chill pill.
We should be working together to give bungie better ideas on content.
Or attempting to get rid of the players that constantly bash the game we love on our own forums.

I mained a striker titan, never really used the other classes. On the ocassion I used sunbreaker and the only thing I felt was needed since it was a bit over powered was a 20% armour buff reduction and the number of hammers to be reduce to equal golden gun ( 3 hammers so to speak). I never blamed the other classes I blamed the bad people that couldn't counter it, while a lot of people found it difficult there was an easy counter to, use a sword. But hey people complain for the sake of it.

The reason there is so much hate towards Hunters is because you could look at genuinely any "nerf Sunbreaker" thread and see that a Hunter main made it. The most disgraceful of these I've seen was one person who had 3 Hunters and no grimoire for Titans or Warlocks. I could almost guarantee that the general consensus on the nerf would be very different if these people had actually used the subclass, as opposed to the most common thing, only having the super (provided by quest). I mean come on, if I were to never have made a Hunter and used Golden Gun, I'd probably be arguing that it's OP, but since I've used it I can see it's actually a very well balanced super. Same goes for Stormcaller and the like... One final point, you've stated how Titans complained about blink and arc blade, but everyone seems to forget how people complained about Fist of Havoc (claiming you should be able to jump over it), lightning grenades, shoulder charge (claiming it shouldn't one-hit), and even the goddamn bubble. Yes, you heard me, people complained about how you shouldn't be able to chain bubbles if you're a team made exclusively of Defenders in PvP... Tl;dr: People should just try what they assume is overpowered, and Titans have gotten more people complaining about them than any other.

Everyone just gets mad and blames Hunters because they were the first and most frequent to complain about SBer, and also because they had the best abilities in PvP last year and least to complain about. It was the opposite for Titans. It initially came across as Hunters getting challenged for best super, and then complaining because something finally competes well against their supers. Before people realized HoS actually was OP.

3 RepliesWhy does everyone assume the hammers had proximity detonation? They had nothing of the sort. Due to the high blast radius, it most likely hit something near you. Or it could have just nicked your hitbox from the tracking aspect, thus exploding. I guess someone thought they saw something, posted it on the forums, and everyone just ran with it.

1 ReplyHunters are absofrigginlutely fine. My only complaint about hunters is that the symbiote needs to go back to its old roots!! (Hate the reduced timer on golden gun...) I'm glad that the striker and defender Titans got buffs. I main sunbreaker in PVE though. Warlocks... Well. They're absofriggnlutely fine too. I guess the more usage of the weapons, the more complaints about the weapons rise. More the complaints, more demand for nerfs. ._.

Btw, none of those ways start with nerf. Calling for a nerf is just a crutch for those who don't want to adapt.

Thank you, so glad there are other players who get this! Probably just a vocal minority defending stuff like Sunbreakers (Even after the numbers proved they were too good in some cases!) Heres hoping the balance patches one day hit perfection.
