I had a argument with my friends and he said, "If we can breathe on the tower why ca't we breathe on other planets?" We had a whole 2 hour debate on this and I want to prove him wrong. After I asked him how you would get Oxygen he responded with,"Just Breathe!" I don't think if you stick your head in a plastic bag you can just breathe right?
So I need your guys help Message G***t R*****5 he is wrong.
Edit: Also he said, "How can we breathe on The Reef if were on an asteroid?" I asked him how can we have lunar bases, he responded why can't we have that for a planet?

2 RepliesYou could also argue that the armor is air tight. Or that guardians don't need to breath...considering they are hard to kill by normal means anyway.

1 ReplyEdited by HypobaricPiano: 12/14/2015 8:07:21 AMCan you breathe in space? No. Can you breathe on other planets? Depends on the atmospheric pressure. Will you survive breathing only what is in that planet's air? Probably not, we're quite accustomed to earth. It'd have to be remarkably similar, one in a billion.

You need to pay 20 bucks and be 320 the breath in space

3 RepliesIn destiny the traveler terra formed the planets, so yes you should be able to breathe on other planets
-
If you try and breathe in space, your blood would boil cold from the massive heat loss from the space around you. This would kill you in seconds, destroying your bodies tissues and turning your brain to mush.

You both deserve to be necked for some reason or another.

Edited by Mr Awesome 0ne: 12/14/2015 7:31:46 AM
"If we can breathe on the tower why ca't we breathe on other planets?"
The Tower is on Earth, so this question is invalid, Earth has good ole Oxygen a plenty. As for the Moon, other Planets, or Reef for that matter, all of our characters wear Helmets all the time, except for the Tower where you can remove them I thought this was the reason for Helmets, to breathe on other planets.

Yes, I visited last month. When I finally came down I learned it was some serious medical weed. I was numb for hours.

In space? No. It's a vacuum. On other planets with an atmosphere of some sort? Technically yes. It's toxic but, wait for it, only if you breathe it in!
-
What, you haven't?
-
You can "breathe", but you'll breathe void, nothing, and still die from asphyxiation.
-
6 RepliesYou can breathe in space if you're Species 8472.
-
Well The other planets were terraformed. So you would have to think if plants can exist then we could breathe.
