Why is the sunbreaker being nerfed?
I'm a 302 Titan and to be honest.......the sun breaker doesn't need to be nerfed. The sun breaker can still be defeated by
.Long range snipers
.Nova bomb
.Golden gun
.Fist of havoc
.Night stalker
.Sunsinger...well not really unless your really lucky.
.Arc blades
.Grenades
.Stormcaller
To be honest if there was one thing I would nerf it would be the golden gun.
3 shots 1 hit killing any other enemy.
The golden gun lasts for 15-30 seconds.
While they can both kill each over 1 shot why is bungie picking on sun breakers?
Most of the people who are say "Nerf sun breaker" are players who don't have the taken king. WHY ARE YOU GUYS WHINING? You non-taken king players can kill us sun breakers no matter the weapon.
Why is bungie picking on titans? NERFING A SUNBREAKER? Bungie I don't know what idea you guys are coming up with but come on! Nerfing A SUBCLASS? You guys need to stop whining and grow up. Bungie. I honestly really hope you guys re think you guys are gonna do.

They don't really need a nerf, Bungie should just make it so cauterize is only for grenade and melee. 3x health + health and shield recovery on hammer kill? That's what makes it o.p.

Because it's obviously op compared to any other super. Is it so hard to understand? Just because you can counter it doesn't mean it's not op in comparison. Every other mobile super is WAY easier to counter...even Stormtrance. And even Stormtrance is op compared to the other mobile supers.

Sunbreakers are not the first subclass to be nerfed, so don't think this is a new issue. And its only in extreme unbalance when they are looked at. And we complain so bungie can see that their are still problems that need some looking at

12 RepliesI main a titan, and you're very [i]very[/i] wrong. Used a Gunslinger in Iron Banner. Takes two golden gun shots, or 2/3 of available super to kill a sunbreaker. But a sunbreaker can ohk a golden gunner, and they get a health regeneration immediately after. As a sunbreaker NOTHING one hit kills me. NOTHING. And if you need a second shot, you're screwed because I have tracking hammers and a location to toss them. What actually needs to happen in health regeneration being limited to one refill per super and that can only occur if you get a multi kill with a single hammer. Sunbreakers need a tweak, not a total nerf.

9 RepliesRunning around with sunbreaker is like running around with 8 nova bombs. Except for the fact you can still get killed by a sniper, golden gun, shotgun, rockets, etc. Oh and we can't regen health after every kill. Or create sunspots so our novas last longer. So yea. I think it needs to be nerfed.

I can only speak from a hunter's perspective since it's my primary character choice. I've tried shadowshot on sunbreakers. I shot my bow, hit, and before my second shot he turned around and did hammer time on my face. Blade dancing in on a sunbreaker is suicide, and with the right setup they can even survive a golden gun. But this isn't just the sunbreaker. The striker and even sunsinger can be equally annoying. So from a hunter's view, yeah, you're OP. But, I've taken out my share too. If it's not titans, some other class will be declared unfair. It's all about perspective.

I love how when people talk about how "op" Sunbreaker is, -they forget about our horrid non super perks are -they assume we have every single perk in our tree running all at once -they drastically over hype the effectiveness of most perks -and most are squishy huntards running low armor builds crying about stuff killing them
