Anyone else played Iron Banner lately and noticed......
That Titans are the top of the lead. Almost every game. Could it be cause I dunno, Hammer of Sol that is super op. I played one match and this guy was on a 7 kill streak with his hammer! How interesting.
How do you guys feel about it?

Perhaps it's because a large portion of the "Hardcore" Destiny players are Titans, and many of the other classes are playing other games?

I played a couple of matches against 4 Alpha Lupi Defenders and 2 Stormcallers with Electrostatic Mind. I ended up just putting on a bubble myself and waving at them lol. There was no overcoming that with a bunch of randoms.

3 RepliesYou know, I usually get around 2-3 kills when I activate my hammer. This is because I ether can't find anyone, or I missed my hammer throws. When I see people saying that you get a granted 5-6 kills have obviously not used the super that much. I'm not saying it isn't OP, but those 5-6 kills situations happen every 1 of 10 games.

I am usually at the top of my team, doesn't matter which character I am on.

My Titan was nearly always on top, I was a defender Titan, maybe it's more cause #titanmasterrace

It's not op. People just run away and do nothing. I was shut down with my hammer plenty of times.

When I hear a Titan's super activate. I stay away from the enemy until I know it's hostile or friendly by watching the notifications. Best way to counter if you don't have a super ready.

I think every time I did iron banner on my Titan as soon as I popped my hammer super I was team shot and got maybe one kill. But when I played on my void walker or blade dancer I was wrecking.

Ok people Hammer of Sol 101: 1) When you hear *Clang* Run like hell until you can determine if it is friendly or not 2) If you can get a couple of shots on a distracted Titan and his doesn't regenerate after killing your team mate.........-blam!- him up. 3) If the world is burning..........-blam!- him up, super will not last long just avoid the flames 4) Big open spaces are the best, time your jumps, avoid the explosions then turn, point and kill 5) If you know that there are multiple HoS stards on the opposing team, try not to feed them kills as it will just encourage the others picking up your orb 6) Anything that you can run around clockwise/counterclockwise for cover is an annoyance as not all hammers track depending on perks selected 7) Again if you hear a *Clang* vacate the area, it does not last forever so stay away from the red on your radar Striker Titan out :)

Sunbreakers can take a team losing by thousands to a win, but I still got my highest score IB bounties done on my hunter. They can be stopped, it's just not easy. When you hear that clang you know you're probably just points waiting to be collected.

1 ReplyNot to add salt to your wound, but I had a 13 kill streak with my HoS Titan lol. Before you say anything, yes I do believe their armor stat does need to be reworked, everything else is fine.
