Ok, here are my thoughts. This is the first time I don´t feel like playing IB and I will try to explain why. 1.- Clash or Control? As an average pve player, I prefer Control because I really love objective-oriented game modes, where you can get points by doing things that do not involve killing enemies -only-. 2.- People Quitting. I have read some comments about this, with people saying they have found less people leaving the game early. Although I have not played enough this IB to state if this is true or false, my experience is that people still leaving the game even faster than in control, mostly when they realize that we are fighting against a 6-player team or when our team is losing 3000 to 200 after less than one minute of play. 3.- Camping to control zones. In Control, you need to move around the map to get the zones if you really want to win. In Clash there is no need to do that. You can find a perfect spot from where you can easily snipe people. I have been killed a lot by snipers in this IB, but this is not te point of this. I do not mind having a camper in the other team, but I have fought against groups of 4-5 snipers covering the same position, making really hard to kill them all. Once a team find the perfect zone, it is hard to move them from there, so the match is tied until one of the teams takes control of that place. By the way, this zone could be a corner of the map, a corridor, a covered place inside a structure... This point makes the game feel unbalanced after a while and this is another reason why people leaves the match. 4.- Respawn. Ok, this part is also important and happened in almost every IB match I have played these days. Remember the last point about controlling zones? Perfect, because I have experienced the next issue in several matches when the opposite team corner us in our spawn zone. Instead of changing the zone, my team still respawning at the same place, surrounded by enemies and making it almost impossible to survive more than 3-4 seconds. Blind Watch is a perfect example: my team were respawning at A while the opposite team were cornering us there. I have appeared in the small room with the two doors just to realize that two enemies were in this same room. Or even better, when the heavy ammo is about to spawn, instead of popping in the heavy ammo zone with my teammates, I did it in the enemies' one, so I was surrounded by 6 of them. And this is what I think about this IB. I could write down some more ideas, but as a summary, I believe it is enough. I do not like IB Clash. I hate fighting against a wall of snipers, people quitting or being -blam!-ed by the respawn system C U around!

It takes away those games that you have the idiots not helping with the objective. So in this case yes it's better because everyone can do the objective. (hopefully)

Quit lying to yourselves that Destiny is a great game.

I am starting to like clash a little better for IB mostly because there aren't any random's doing stupid things like trying to cap a third zone for absolutely no reason.

This is the most fun i have had since i completed story mode and did the new strikes. Iron Banner Clash has me feeling good about the time i spent. I have been keeping a tally of the rewards also. So far 30 matches played. 6 purple engrams (1 turned into Ruin Wings) 18 strange coins 14 blue engrams Iron Banner hand cannon 294 Light 17 mote of light Iron Banner Titan Chest x 2 (288, 297) 310 rare artifact for Rank 3 Iron Banner gauntlets 289 Faith in RNG restored.

I've actually haven't had this much fun in iron banner since the first few iron banners in existence. I can play IB solo much better in clash than control. I frickn love it. Clash IB FTW!

Iron Banner Clash is AMAZING! Way better then lame rush to your death control. Only thing better would be Iron Banner Clash/Control Inferno - No radar! Then we'd be really talking competitive Iron Banner. Only downside to Clash I found on the first day was all the quitters - 10/15 games 80% of them had quitters in them on either team..brutal..messed up the entire gameplay - there needs to be a penalty on players quitting from Iron Banner matches. 2nd day was pretty tho ...at least I didn't seem to run into many quitters and today the third day I just played a ton of matches and didn't notice a single person leave - maybe I just got lucky but huge improvement from day one lol (which was pretty much unplayable) That being said Clash is 10x better than Control which doesn't require you to really stay alive at all; having a 3 kd at the end of a clash match however and you may have just snagged a victory! M.O anyway. keep it Clash! add Inferno! Lets up the stakes!
