Bruhhh Voidwalker is f*cking bæ<3
First off, let's go with axion bolt.
-Axion bolt
Snipers camping? Axion makes them run to their mothers.
A guy is tagged an crouches in a corner? Axion bolt puts him for a little nap.
-Blink speaks for itself because it's still good.
-Melee, warlocks have ridiculous melee range so that's already know for the entire class.
-Space magic, you heard a hammer? What? The Titan sunbreaker? *Space magic* what hammer? *insert Lenny face*
Voidwalker king subclass for warlocks

I've been exclusively running voidwalker in pvp since ttk just because it's so much fun. Nothing manacles or voidfangs (Gotta love getting a kill 15 seconds after you threw an axion).

2 RepliesThe Voidwalker: See one person by themself, novabomb.
-
I used to play void walker ONLY. The single reason I had sunsinger leveled up is because I switched to it when I turned in bounties. But I never used blink, that crap shouldn't exist.
-
I got a clutch nova on mayhem rumble took out stormcaller and sunbreaker in one shot
-
I agree voidwalker is badass but you better pop that nova bomb before the hammer sees you or your just gonna trade kills.
-
No, I'm king warlock. Look at my warlock.

Lost me at bae

3 RepliesNova bomb isn't very good for pvp BUT a combination of blink/voidfang/axion bolt was the reason i mained voidwalker in pvp even when stormcaller was introduced. If stormcaller had blink, tho, i'd go with stormacaller instead
-
I agree with you. Now for most pve I'd go with storm caller. Nova bombs might be good for select situations but mostly storm for the crowd control
-
9 RepliesA good sunsinger will always reign pvp, and im not talking about self res a good sunsinger will use radiant skin.

all 3 of them are great lol. But dudes have already spent all of Y1 slaying w. Nova Bombs. It's Stormtrance time. >:)

I think all 3 are good and have there uses but it depends on the weapons you have and the game mode and the strategy you like to play. voidwalker can be built to have strong area denial with both grenade and super so it can be a real beast in control, and yes blink is still good. The melee can be made so you can win a close range gunfight more reliably as wel. plus you can use the dire skull helmet and actually tank a hammer shot to theface and oneshot counter them...wich is wonderful. Its super is a oneshot super so you really want to save it for the appropriate time meaning this is a decent option for tlaloc as well. Stormcaller's grenades are more finicky but if you can land the midle one you can actually oneshot someone, but its a timed onee with a tell. the melee range is the longest of the warlocks with a perk, and it can posess a crazy strong neutral game off of a class that already has strong neutral game just cuz of the melee range, ability to super charge melee, ability to GO FASTwhen put to low hp, and the ability to have a potentially ijnfinite resource loop of melee/grenade energy. That said its super begs to be used, so id say its teh worst candidate for tlaloc Sunsinger's super is actually a enhanced neutral game with a sopuped up melee, more damage resistance, and faster grenade cooldown. sunsingers cna have the most consistantly power grenades of the 3, and the overshiled off of melee just begs you to use the claws. with the ability to self res you can feel free to sit on your super until you absolutly need it. making it aprobably the strongest choice for tlaloc. so for control type matches imo go for voidwalker with dire skull helm, with high armor and a void armor chest you can tank a entire teams worth of fire for the time you novabomb from around a corner. for more mobile/spread out type game modes the stormcaller can really shine as while it doesnt have a ton of damage resistance it has great kill potential and roaming potential. getting 3-4 kills per super is pretty easy even without transendence. for something a little more...careful, like trials, i imagine sunsinger to be great, the ability to sit on your super and overflow youyr tlaloc will give you a edge in the neutral game, and lets be honest, the neutral game is where you get the vast majority of your kills. any of them can work in any setting tho
-
Yeah voidwalker all of a sudden getting some love, been maining a voidwalker since day one getting sick of everyone saying "why arnt u running sunslinger". Bad juju complements the subclass soo well.

Sunsinger with firebolt, touch of flame (enemies ignite) and Viking funeral (burn longer) 2 op

1 ReplyLove running voidwalker with bloom, that way if anyone survives the nova bomb, the ones who don't survive,"bloom" and cause a bloom chain reaction with the lucky survivors...
-
disagree entirely... it truly depends on what game mode you are playing. for control where everyone is doing something somewhere I think storm caller can rip apart a team. Clash and some other things void walker and trials sunsinger
-
I beg to differ. I prefer Sunsinger with it's extra grenade and self res. I put on my sunbreakers and hurl solar grenades. I play mostly control so it's pretty easy to get multiple grenade kills when enemy is capping zones. I don't find Axion bolts nearly as effective, even when wearing Voidfang Vestments.

3 RepliesEdited by YunaTatski: 11/16/2015 2:40:33 PMYou can shoot an axion bolt, however I do not like how they made the hitbox of the bolt extremely small. compared to its actual size. You also don't get a hit marker if you hit it or not, so you can only know that you shot it if it blows up in your face.
