Edit: everyone rambling on about my kd and how it matters... without dedicated servers ... it does not matter so continue rambling comments are irrelevant if they pertain to my kd on a game without dedicated servers...
Edit: if you disagree on this game needing dedicated servers then your connection and you as a whole are the reason this game if falling off fast. This game needs dedicated servers if you think otherwise you probably lag on purpose so your kd is autoshit good day. I love you trolls , play nice :')

2 RepliesI kind of agree. I started playing crucible properly yesterday as the pve content is a little tiresome. I had one game with about 5 kills but had 14 assists. Almost three times as much as the second highest assist tally in my team. It doesn't take that into consideration

Overall kd dont matter because its just games for messing about, trials kd matters, and kds for games like skirmish because them games the better man wins, not like control where your shooting someone infront of you and their team mate kills you from behind, 6v6 kds dont matter but 3v3 kds are more accurate

K/D does not matter. It does and it doesn't. I can actually try and be one of the top guys but there are days were I just don't care. I'll go up to the enemy. Be all serious and just dance or point or even wave. Well because usually someone on my team pissed me off. So I just don't care. I'll even try to lead them to other people on my team. Why? Why not? It's fun.

Lag doesn't affect EVERY single game. Essentially blaming lag as a result of poor k/d is stupid. The only reason why your k/d should be below 1.0 or hovering around the 1.0 area is if you run sweaties or Trials nonstop. There's really no other excuse for a poor k/d other than just having bad performance. It's always easier to blame something else, isn't it ?

1 ReplyFrom my point of view, PvP in Destiny does need some improvements. Based on my KD, lots of people would say I suck, and likely I do, but regardless, that doesn't change that PvP needs its improvements. Dedicated servers will help quite a bit, playing Black Ops has demonstrated just how much these servers would separate and differentiate players. For example, actual lagging players would be negatively affected, in addition, good players would be free from the "you lagged, you cheated" accusations that plague them just because they scored over a 1.0. Balancing, is still in the works, some guns, mostly Hand Cannons and Pulse Rifles, need an improvement, they are not "too strong", but they don't seem to be in the right place or have the right feel currently.

Looking at your last 5 games, you have held a KD of 1.56. I guarantee that has helped your team out a lot more than when you were going negative .

K/D = skill. Dedicated servers have nothing to do with it. If you can't keep a positive k/d, your not a very skilled player. It's quite simple really

Especially when there are retarded bounties like the sword kills, last word for the chaperone, first curse killstreak, etc that force you to use shit guns when everyone else has a pulse. I ruined my kd by doing most of these and don't intend on trying to raise it so a couple 10 year olds think I'm cool.

I suck in pvp and don't really play unless it's a daily, I'm bored, drunk, IB or trials of ozzie. I could care less as long as the job is done.
