Edit: everyone rambling on about my kd and how it matters... without dedicated servers ... it does not matter so continue rambling comments are irrelevant if they pertain to my kd on a game without dedicated servers...
Edit: if you disagree on this game needing dedicated servers then your connection and you as a whole are the reason this game if falling off fast. This game needs dedicated servers if you think otherwise you probably lag on purpose so your kd is autoshit good day. I love you trolls , play nice :')

Edited by KimHasselager: 11/18/2015 12:50:14 PMSo i am nothinf more than the avg pvp player, sometimes good and sometimes bad... in my opinion not everything can be counted by this measure... examples: i can have a game with 100 assist, and 5 kills and die 10, so my kd sucks.. yet the truth is i was unlucky not to get the actual kill... another; i use nightstalker, more aupport class with the bow, so easy targets for rest of team as well... another: some games you got objectives that require totally different playstyle or have to play annoying modes.. - i myself recently got 4.5 kd and such in rift ( love that mode ) and other 6vs6 modes, but i really or usually suck at rumble etc. But play it to complete a bounty or quest, knowing it wrecks kd... edit: clash mode, kd really really matters

You aren't the only one that suffers from Destiny's lack of dedicated servers, yet plenty of other people still manage to go positive- the fact that you can't should tell you something about your skill level (or lack thereof).

It matters to a certain degree but overall no. When playing with a fireteam of noob randoms, sometimes it is hard to get even one kill when you are rushed by 2-3 different people at once EVERYTIME you spawn....

The underlying problem is the bad connections that plague Destiny almost every match in Trials and iron banner actually all pvp has at least 2 red bars.

1 ReplyYep, especially because I just watched a dude red bar and go unbroken, this dude never got tethered, bladedancer hits did nothing to him, same with GG shots. Guy was lagging like crazy but managed to always have a super, and he'd pop it if he took any damage.

If i can bomb pvp when i started back in May, then go back from shit kd to 1.2 and still going up with the same character, its you, not the game. Blame the player, not the game.

If you have a 1.0 k/d your a average player and not consistent at all , 2.0 shows consistency. I'm not consistent at meeting a high k/d but ill gotta positive majority of the time.

2 RepliesKd shouldn't matter if your most played game type is control. Most of you idiots don't capture anything and just go around killing. Rumble, and skirmish kd should matter though since here you have to pull your own weight.

Na bro sorry it does matter. You are that guy/girl i do not want on my team. Play to win or at least be competative within the set rules of the game. I understand the lag is bad, it is bad for me also at times but i worked on getting better in pvp simply because i enjoy it. My kd was trash across 3 charactes and ive got them up to deapectable levels in my opinion. Honestly if your kd does not matter, kf pvp does not matter to you just stay out of pvp. You ruin others experience with that mentality.
