"Don't use Touch of malice, use a sniper!!"
Can people (mainly from LFG) stop demanding that snipers are the only viable option for Warpriest!!!
I have some good snipers and could use them if I wished, but I don't, why because TOM is far better! You just have to know how to use it.
The other night I was with an awesome team from LFG, we all had TOM, dropped a blessing and weapons each time and Melted the Warpriest in two rounds.
Even if everyone doesn't run with the touch and chooses to use Spindle/1000 yd etc, the touch is still a very credible option.
Maybe it's because people are just used to just holding the trigger down on daughters/Oryx and haven't practiced "getting good" in other encounters?
What's everyone else's thoughts on the Touch of Malices use, in encounters other than the end of Kings Fall?

ToM, Black Spindle, 1000 Yard State, Still Piercer, Sleeper Simulant, the list goes on. I don't care what anyone uses so long as it's their highest dps option they feel comfortable with. For daughters and Oryx though, if you have a ToM, it's the best option.

Ok, so we melt him in 2 rounds without a single ToM being used. Its not better than spindle for dps like that, headshots are way too damn easy on this boss. ToM is easier to use because you literally hold R2 and down a touch on the right stick..

I use a sniper and switch to sleeper stimulant when it needs to reload...cocoon perk.. ToM I only use on the sisters and Oryx.

My team melts him with snipers in to rounds too, if I can't be done in one round there is no point switching methods.

I use touch of malice, sniper, and heavy on WARPRIEST. It works great for me.

13 RepliesSometimes my whole group will use ToM for the war priest but if the majority of people are using snipers & youre that one guy with ToM, what should the bubble buff be? Obviously weapons of light. If youre the titan & making it blessings for personal use, you are hindering your team.

I have downed Warpriest in two rounds using ToM or with a group of spindles. Either way is a viable strategy. Just depends on the group and what they have and what they are comfortable with.

My main argument against people like that is "bitch don't tell me what to do".
