I'm 24 my wife says gaming is immature
My wife swears gaming in an immature thing, I have been gaming for at least 15 years.....someone shed some opinions on this
Update: I only play maybe an hour a week.
I have a 5 year old who my wife says she doesn't want him playing at all, hence why she hates me playing. This bothers me due to my background in video games. What is a possible solution?

Sit her down and talk. I'm sure she does things she likes so its only fair you can do things you like as well. You have a kid to take care off, you deserve your free time as much as she does.

1 Reply1hr a week? lol thats not gaming. Gamings a hobby, and a good one at that. If your realy into it, your wife should appreciate your knowledge/keeping up to date with all the latest tech. Gaming can be beneficial to kids 1. keeps them out of trouble 2. it can actualy make them smarter, not just learning stuff through media, but skills you practise in a game, ie. motor skills, spartial awarness, reasoning etc. will all be higher than your average non-gamer. Your wife should just wanto see you happy, and if gaming makes you happy AND gives you and your kid something to bond over then whats her beef?
