Bungie, I beg you, please end the loot system shenanigans and actually REWARD your dedicated raiders with loot they deserve. I have cleared Oryx on hard mode three times now and I never once received any type of primary (regular or hard mode version) nor helmet. Also, two out of three of those times I received the harrowed chest both of which were lower light than my current harrowed chest (I have probably collected 6 or 7 harrowed chests by now).[i] [b]Seriously, pull it together and start fixing your disaster of a "loot system". [/b] [/i] I am not here to complain about not receiving rewards from Oryx in general, because I understand how RNG works. But for me to have slain Oryx three times after SEVERAL HOURS of raiding to find no primaries nor a helmet, then what exactly is the point of defeating Oryx at all. Those five plus harrowed chest pieces seem to be dropping fine but what is happening on Oryx? Should I be doing some secret Atari code dance or do I need to emote at Oryx at a certain time in the fight? Why should I bother spend my time orchestrating a kill with my fireteam when I have a good idea that I am not going to receive any loot. I have plenty of friends who have yet to down Oryx but truth be told, I am no different than them because I haven't gotten anything from him. Why put him in the raid if he doesn't bother dropping his boss specific loot? I could understand if it were raid shared loot but three times without anything from Oryx, [b]WTF BUNGIE?!?!?[/b] Bungie, supposedly you "listen" to your community but this loot system has been an overwhelming issue since Year One launch and you have yet to fix anything. Your supposed "fix" for the Taken King expansion only made things worse. I have not noticed any difference in loot only the strange occurrence that I am constantly receiving exotics and raid rewards of the same gear slot time and again. Sorry but I am not "pardoning your dust" because you are BUNGIE for christ's sake. Get it together and put out some decent updates rather than tarnish the Bungie name even more. Hopefully someone on the team with any sense of intelligence will read this and perhaps think, [b]"Hey, maybe we [i]should[/i] fix the loot system!"[/b] TLDR: Oryx's loot table is broken and does not reward players correctly. Loot system overall is horrendous and only provides lower light duplicates of gear already obtained. EDIT 11/3/15: Thank you to all who bumped and replied to this post. I originally planned on this being a flame post because I could not control my anger at the time but it seems to have developed into a more civil post. Keep the replies going so Bungie knows how their players feel after diligently raiding week after week.
