The Alchemist Raiment being sold by Xur is 280.
In My vault I have chest pieces with the following defenses
2x293
2x294
3x297
1x303
1x310.
What's the most efficient way to infuse the raiment, and what's the likely outcome?

1 ReplyUsing 1x293 then 1x294 then 1x297 will get you to 297. At this point the 303 will only get you to 301. And the 310 will land you at 307. For exotics, a 1 to 4 difference will give you full value. For a difference of 5 and above, multiply by 0.7.

Lowest to highest

You get 70% of each one. Should get you to roughly 308-309.

Infuse those into from least to greatest and you'll end up with a Alchemist Raiment of 307 (+/- 1)

3 RepliesUse the 303. You can keep your highest defense to keep your light up and what is the use of wasting legendary marks by infusing it into a 293? 280 -- 293 -- 303???? What is the point? Do this. 280 --- 303. Getting the same bang for less buck

Thanks for the answers, guys. The infusion calculators used to get those wrong, I think because of the legendary / exotic issue. As for the why: Heavy ammo drops for swordplay plus I have no other use for all the 290-30x stuff I've been storing now that all my dudes are over 300.

There's an app for that.
