So going back and forth between Halo 5 and Destiny you can definitely tell the difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS. It's almost painful to look at Destiny. It takes about 30 minutes before my eyes adjust to the 30 FPS. Everything is extremely choppy. Almost as if time is standing still.
Destiny 2 needs to be in 60 FPS.
EDIT: THIS IS NOT A HALO 5 VS DESTINY THREAD. They are both great in their own regards. I am strictly talking about framerate

2 RepliesXD I've been doing Halo 5 Warzones tons today and I *WANT* to back on Destiny and PvP some but..... DOSE 60 FRAMES PER SECOND DOH! Everything is so crisp, now, and pretty. XD

1 ReplyIt's not even the framerate, it's the movement speed. Destiny is so slow.
-
2 RepliesHalo 5 looks faster, but the motion capture and way spartans move doesnt look natural in pvp. Just a blur of legs Also the environment looks a bit cartoony with no grit. Surfaces look too smooth, no texture. For me 30 fps with destiny graphics is better than 60fps with halo graphics and motion captured movement. While 60 fps is better than 30, i think the overall package of graphics, motion of characters is better in destiny even if its handicapped by 30fps

It's not that bad but there is a notable difference. I find myself wondering "I just got hit, why am I still aiming down sights?" quite often.
-
4 RepliesWhile 60 fps is smoother looking it's just a little nicer to have it over 30 fps. But is rather play a fun game like destiny in 30 fps than a shitty game at 60 fps.
-
I don't see a difference, maybe I just don't care idk
-
Exactly how my friends and I felt when switching back to destiny, we actually went back to halo 5 cause it was so distracting.

6 RepliesTry playing on a decent PC with over 100 fps consistently. Honestly, I play both PC and console, and the 30 fps doesn't bother me. I'd take 1080 at 30 fps over 720 at 60 fps any day.

Blame last gen.
-
I prefer 30fps to be honest.
-
Nah. I'd rather have the resolution and steadier frame rate rather than 60fps
-
2 RepliesYou know what's also painful? 680 to 1020, uh burn!

6 RepliesEdited by LunarReece: 11/2/2015 3:15:24 AM-blam!- off to halo then you scrub and go on a halo forum

8 RepliesThe reason destiny is 30 fps is because of old gen consoles
-
Agreed. It needs a higher FoV too. Better look mechanics. Better netcode. I kind of understand why non-PvP is 30 fps but Crucible should be 60.
-
4 RepliesNo really.. you don't say? Inconceivable
-
20 RepliesDestiny is far from choppy, even when playing 60 FPS games for a long period of time

Edited by ArachShankill: 11/1/2015 11:50:41 PMWow, that's a hell of a lot of insecurity. Damn.
-
1 ReplyWow. 30 to 60? I never knew they were different.
-
5 RepliesIf you play destiny on XB1 into in 60 FPS so.... Yeah
-
It's so true tho destiny looked so bad it took me awhile to get used to it from playing halo 5 even gears of war when that came out
-
9 RepliesYou thibk 60fps is good? Try 120fps. Silky smooth

"Who do you believe, me or your own lying eyes?" the man asks his wife after she catches him in bed with another woman.
-
2 Replies30 mph vs 60 mph wow what a difference. I get were im going so much faster at 60 it's hard to adjust to 30. Maybe thats why i dont have a drivers license anymore. Main st. Should be 60mph zone

4 RepliesThe Xbox one can go up to 60 fps?
