I honestly don't understand why every guardian isn't getting automatically put into game chat like the old days (halo 2, halo 3, halo reach, etc.). THIS BOTHERS ME. For a very verbal person who enjoys calling out and making sure my team-mate have mics to also do the same, I find it very frstrating that 99% of crucible players aren't automatically connected to voice chat. Please let me know if I'm the only one who thinks this is ridiculous.
Thanks,

Especially in Crucible. The last time I auto-connected, I was greeted by some asshat announcing to the entire team that he would piss in the mother's mouth of anyone who "stole" any of "his" kills. I switched out of game chat for a little and then switched back on to hear him loudly bitching that "you -blam!-ing people suck, what's the point of me capping the zones if you don't defend them?" Hey, asshole: it's a team effort. You can defend some zones as well. Switched off auto-connect, never looked back. TL;DR: the prevalence of toxic jerks is why I don't auto-connect.
