Please tell me the use of hunters in the raid...
If they didn't have nightstalker
Just defending my fellow warlocks since we are considered "useless" in the raid
For everyone saying golden gun with cn I don't see anyone even using that in the raid

Just sayn warlocks r who always makes me wait when we get to the jumping puzzle same back in vog. I've been stuck for up to an hr before we made the person leave and come back. Other than that I don't give a shit what class or subclass u play as long as u do ur job

'If they didn't have nightstalker' well they all do so that argument is mute. Also warlocks are the best add clearers and their self revive in the hard raid makes them one of the strongest classes.

That's bc you don't need it if you have malice lol but nighthawk introduce a different strategy...guaranteed knickknack of oryx when you are a man down or have other guys focus on ads prior to detonation. Warlocks were pretty useless until hard mode where death causes wipes. Titans has always been great but they need orbs from night stalker ;)

Same logic could be applied to any raid, in vog pre patch what good would the warlocks be without sunsinger ? Can't simply eliminate a class and ask how good would they be without it.

I main warlock but whenever I run it with my hunter I do ogre control with gg celestial nighthawk and sleeper, nothing gets past me.

Warlok in ttk are good for Bad players to resurrect Crowd control in golgoroth last phase Ogres to pin them back in the corners with solar grenades I Main a warlok Now hunters are definitely more useful in the raid In general u prefer a balanced 2 2 2 strat

Use golden gun with celestial nighthawk for oryx but night stalker for the rest of it. Just for the DPS on oryx

I use nighthawk and golden gun in the raid, very useful against bosses are especially because my raid group has 1 or 2 bubble Titans with weapons, another Hunter who runs bow and two warlocks who make orbs in case somebody doesn't get their super back. Everything is useful if you know how to coordinate it. And smoke bombs are good to detonate blights on oryx because you go invis and don't take damage, although bladedancer beats you out there but the super would be a waste

Just finished Oryx on Hard Mode, had the most kills by far and twice the K/D of the second person - with that person being a floater who should have been focusing on Ogres and adds. Three Sunsingers, two Defenders, one Gunslinger - me. If you need to rely on your class OR subclass to carry you through a raid, you need to "git gud". The only ability I really used was my Super, which I only used in tandem with the Nighthawk to bail my team out of DPS sections we were falling behind on, such as the Shade, and for the various Knights when they neared the Blighted Light bombs.

1 ReplyHunters - Nightstalker for Warpriest, Golgoroth, and Sisters, gunslinger for Oryx and ogres. Titans - Sunbreaker and/or Defender for every fight (only really need one Defender since weapons of light stacks with either tether or melting point). Warlock - Player preference in most cases. Voidwalker for range, Sunsinger for resurrection, or Stormcaller to clear trash mobs quickly. (I don't main a Warlock, but Voidwalker Nova Bombs seem like they could down those ogres quickly). Its best to discuss team composition before the raid.

Warlocks are useful in hard mode as always with self Rez. Storm callers should be orb factories for every boss fight to ensure bow and bubble are ready for each dmg phase. When you think about it defenders and night stalkers are really the only super useful subs.
