Halo 5 will be better than Destiny and I'm happy to move on

I wasn't happy about the news of req packs being purchased. But they're only useful in war zone, they're used up once you spend it, and it's not allowed in any rank play. Also many community members of halo are not happy about it and ultimately are throwing the same shit fit destiny community members are. Not exactly sure the purpose of this post other than caps lock is cruise control for cool ;P

What does this have to do with Destiny feedback? Seriously, some of the posts on here are ridiculous enough, but at least they all pertain to Destiny. This is seriously nothing more than an attempt to flame other players and instigate a conflict. Trolling. Micro-Transactions are a cancer for this very reason, regardless. It spreads, infecting everything else around it. It has no place in AAA Games, but because there are people who spend like $45 on things like Dance Emotes for Destiny or the even more obnoxious Supply Drops from Call of Duty, other companies follow suit because its a trend. Businesses and Developers are two totally different sides of the same coin. Developers are the artists and visionaries like Joe Staten and Marty O'Donnell who use their talents to create and express themselves, the hand which crafts. Businesses are the financial arm connected to that and their only concern is making money and coming up with new ways to make more of it, to always increase their bottom line. The problem is that the delicate balance has been gradually tipped to one side. Developers have been getting less and less say because their rights and freedoms directly stem from the Gamers. WE are the ones who are supposed to be keeping the businesses in line and held to certain standards. What is or isn't alright in games. Companies will always try to find some way to squeeze out those extra profits, but it is the people who keep that tight leash. Here's the problem, though. Over the years, Gamers haven't been doing their job. They haven't been holding up their end of things. People have been allowing these businesses to get away with all manner of crap, and each time those companies push the package a little bit further each time, testing the limits of what the players are willing to allow. Honestly? The screwed up part is that even if they had confirmed everything that we already knew and announced it Day 1? There are many who would have still bought this game. Despite what happened with the story that Joe worked on or Marty being unjustly fired and having all of his stocks taken away. And if Destiny does go Pay to Win? Many who say they would leave the game and stop playing it as a result are just giving empty threats. Its hollow, there really isn't any actual conviction because they're already agreed to the notion of an in-game Cash Shop for a AAA title. Its a mentality that has been slowly cultivated over the years, which is perpetuated by two types of people. [b]1) Adults who have money to blow, who aren't being responsible consumers because they care more about instant gratification instead of caring about what sort of future they are creating for the younger generation. 2) Children who don't really appreciate or know the value of a dollar and who have parents that don't care about letting their kid spend money on whatever. (Which is a whole other topic in and of itself)[/b] You make this post talking about how Halo 5 has micros and "Hah hah!" basically. And yet, all I see is just another reason for why I hate Activision and these corporations who just do whatever they want because they feel that no one will try to stop them. I look back on what Gaming was like before and what it stood for and all the feelings associated with it. And then I see the state of things now and just cry. It is truly sad how far things have degraded over the years...

Microtransactions are bad for ANY game. But at least Halo has the whole being a good game thing going for it. 343 is also receiving some backlash over the mocrotransactions as well. I will not purchase any of the MTs and I suspect there will be few that do, mostly children, which I think are the minority of the halo fanbase, which is also different from destiny.

Who the eff cares, ALL of halo 5's dlc is going to be free, if some scrub wants to buy all their abilities while I unlock all mine like a boss I don't care. No different than cod and noobs who buy their specialty packs aren't really any "better" than someone unlocking it naturally. Nice troll post though ;)

Im going to actually have some fun compared to Destiny when im playing Halo 5. Since HOW came out this game went to shit.
