I was so hyped for raid then I realised nobody will play with me
I don't have touch of malice which does not mean I'm a scrub but I just don't like doing the same nonproductive thing repeatedly for hours and that's what the quest line was I'm 307 yet prolly won't get 1 inv to anybody who is curious I'm xbox 1

2 RepliesDid you beat the raid? Yes. Then you have the 3 materials? Yes. You have no excuse not to get those fragments and hadium flakes. If you want to raid with the grown ups, you have to work your way to the necessary gear.

I doubt it will matter much. How often does anyone die in the normal raid? Most of the time it's on jumping parts. Now it will actually be a challenge maybe

3 RepliesEdited by ArcaneFrog: 10/23/2015 1:39:50 AMPeople are just idiots, they require 305+ and touch of malice but a good number of people either actually have a life outside of destiny and aren't able to spend hours on end grinding for it or don't think it's worth all the effort and don't try for it but can't join a raid because people require it. They are just too stupid to realize that the first group to beat King's Fall didn't have Touch of Malice and no raid weapons/armor other than what they got in the raid.

All you have to do is pick up 30+ calcified fragments and get the rest from mission rewards (court of oryx, dreadnaught nightfall etc) up to 45. Complete normal kings fall Give a bunch of mats to Eris Do some quest missions The whole quest line basically takes your throughout most of TTK so I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want to follow this quest for even 20 minutes every so often. I can't see how you'd be doing the same thing repeatedly for the touch of malice? After doing so you are rewarded with an exotic weapon at 310 attack Very very unproductive.... Lol almost the exact opposite actually.

What part is "repetitive"? You do the raid once, all the missions are different and the frags are all in different locations.

Lol you don't need ToM. I have Spindle, Stillpiercer, 1,000 Yard, raid MG, and Barons Ambition. I wish someone would complain about my dps abilities.

15 RepliesWELL... I guess since you feel like you need it, I would consider having gotten it to be PRODUCTIVE. If you do it efficiently it takes very little "extra" time to get done. LOL... it never ends... the people that would rather bitch on forums instead of completing a relatively simple task.

Why are people already complaining that they wont get in a raid thats not even out yet? Your 307 man, you'll get in fine. You dont need malice. If you have it, great. But its not and wont be a neccesity.

Nonproductive repetitive thing? Lol you can farm hundred of flakes in an hour or so. Thats the only repetitive thing. If you think thats "long" you wouldnt get an invite to my raid team either. Good luck feeling sorry for yourself.

If you got to 307, then you probably had the time to get the touch of malice. Just grind it out. That's the nature of the game.

Go get ToM instead of crying on the forums. It shows you're not a committed player.

ToM is extremely helpful for daughters and Oryx and well worth the effort that it takes to get it. Of course you have to beat the raid at least once to get it. Get in a team and get it done. Lfg, join a clan, do whatever it takes to get in a group. Watch videos, learn the mechanics, be honest about having not done it before but knowing what you have to do.

I haven't been in a single group that even asked if anyone had ToM. It isn't hard to find groups. I just ran the rain as a 295 hunter and got invited to multiple groups without ToM equipped or the raid emblem. No problem no issue.
