Nightfall Rewards Still Rubbish
Just got Legendary Gauntlets at 290 and my buddy got an Antiquated Rune and one strange coin.
Only two of us ran it, both 305+
Seriously?? That's it? I get more from half an hour in Court of Oryx. I get more from patrolling the Cosmodrome and the daily bounties.
Nightfall is meant to be a bit more than that isn't it? Or what's the point? At least last year we got a buff and cool animation to show how awesome we were.
Edit: Damn, it appears there is going to be a patch...
Edit: I can definitely confirm that at 10am GMT+1 it wasn't on (my loss) and that I have no idea what PST means (Okay, that was a bit facetious, I know exactly what it means, especially now its been explained about a hundred times)

Edit: Apparently it's important to read everything on the destiny forum all the time and if you don't follow twitter (which is ridiculous by the way) then you miss out. You're all forgetting that this message was released in the middle of the night in Europe. So if you don't immediately go on the forums you won't see it. Who checks forums before a quick blast in the morning? Seriously. For those of you that do check forums all the time, it must be nice to be all informed.
Edit: Just one more... Bungie, give us a bit more notice please? Releasing this in the middle of the night wasn't helpful (it'll be evening somewhere globally). Perhaps a 24 hour notice? Just a thought.

So my buddy is going out of town for a couple of weeks and wanted to do the the nightfall before he left at 8 this morning. Now I know the patch is coming and if I wait I will get better rewards, but what's a friend supposed to do? So we finished it and wouldn't you know it, we both got 310 exotics as rewards. Sometimes it pays to be a good friend.

Bungie made it clear they were going to fix nightfall rewards sooner or later so why not check the forums before hand just to be safe? If u had you could of avoided a headache.

It should be in game, even if that's more work for them. The players deserve that for what we've payed. I get the time they chose tho. It's an hour or 2 after their work day starts. Remember Bungie is based in Seattle which is in the Pacific Standard Time Zone. Also, this game is worldwide and no matter what time they choose people in some time zones will get the short end of the stick. Might as well do it while their whole staff is there to deal with it.
