3 RepliesYou can reach 300+ without raiding. Do the quests and you are given a few items with 300 defence/damage. If you have have completed your exotic sword quest you will find the the sword you receive is 310 damage. If your able to get the rest of your gear in the high 290's you will break 300. Save all of your exotic engrams until then and once you reach 300 decrypt them. You will find once you break 300 all of the engrams you just decrypted will range from 290-310 damage or armour. You can then use these exotics to infuse your current gear if you choose

Although rare, 300 gear does drop and some even comes as quest completion rewards. Add in 3 of Coins once you're at 300 and you have a good chance of getting 310 exotics. Those can be used for infusing. 310 is possible without raids but it will take you longer.

13 RepliesI don't mind not getting max light. I hate PVP with a passion, at this point anything that has PVP involved I'm pretty much resigned to fail. I have Autism Spectrum Disorder, I don't socialise well with others and I have 2 friends that play destiny, one has pretty much quit and the other is exceptionally casual. The issue for me is that I feel excluded from getting the exotic and legendary equipment that need a team or stuck behind PVP. I would like it if there was a way to get your hands on them, even if it was hard missions that trigger over a period of weeks. I haven't done any of the raids and I think I may have managed to solo a nightfall.... erm... not entirely sure. This is my thoughts about the matter.

You can get 310 with RNG if you get like 1-2 raid pieces.

6 RepliesYou can, with some grinding. Do the exotic sword quest to get your hands on a 310 Exotic. Use that bonus to get yourself above 300, which then gives you a very good chance of getting 310 exotics from exotic engrams. Then farm engrams and infuse the exotics into your legendary gear.

6 RepliesThey won't do that raids are the point. You can reach 300 without raising. Farm the court. Other than that go lfg and get it done if you wanna mac your light level. If you don't want to do it then don't complain. Work for it don't cry for it.

You can get at least 298 easy with all blues doing strikes....
