Iron Banner? More like Conspiracy Theory-D + Hammer Titan Banner
I'm sick and tired of seeing this shotgun constantly being used. Deej said in an interview that "if we allow one thing to be good and dominate, we've failed at game design." Well that's how the game has always been and they just made it even more so the case by spoon feeding this weapon to players with absolutely amazing perks.
I feel like the patch that "nerfed" shotguns was just a placebo. The only things that actually have range fall off are guns that AREN'T shot guns.
Now we have to wait another 8 months for a patch to PvP to actually balance the supers/guns. Nice Bungie. 10/10
Update:
Just put on all of my year 1 gear (Light level 191 was as low as I could get), got 31 kills. Nice "power curve" Bungie.

I made this point a few days ago..I thought it was just me as I'm not the best pvp player. I said I was losing duels to Conspiracy Theory D while using Boolean Destiny NOT from Close range. It shouldn't happen. Someone should be in your face to kill you with a shotgun, not from ...way over there. IT IS annoying, but all the more satisfying to fusion rifle them to death, make their head explode with FWC The Vanity or ...my new favourite Apple of Discord them!

3 Repliesnow now now i agree with the shotgun thing, BUT i still accept it because ya know what? who cares just keep playing, sucks that people are still doing it, still blinking, still self resing, still shoulder charging, but thats the game, as for balancing supers thats a lot of shit, because they are THREE SEPARATE CLASSES, they are meant to like that, titan has a close quarters (Striker) , a buffer (defender) and a long range (hammer of sol) now now now, what do warlocks and hunters have, a close, a buffer, and a long range, like look at blade dancer, close, range, look at golden gun, long range and what about shadowshot, buffer get it trough your skull

Now the hammers i def agree with you on. And it's not OP because it kills easily, it honestly because i once was shot with a Golden gun bullet and survived!, which i will demo in a later upcoming video. But side note, look how easily noobs, and yes these guys were noobs get wrecked by hammer of sol

Corresponding to my other comments I do find the Conspiracy Theory-D really annoying sometimes. You see I don't mind getting killed by a shotgun I just hate getting killed by the same weapon over and over and over.

10 RepliesReally get tired of people to be real fu*king honest. Red Death use to be one of the least good weapons used in Trials and as soon as TTK comes out its the same as before and everyone switches over to it because its the only good gun left. Then people bi*ch about how OP it is when literally its actually worse then HoW Red Death. So what we get a few extra bullets then before? The fu*king impact got halved and slightly less range than before! It use to be same impact as messenger! So why is the TTK Red Death which worse than HoW Red Death more OP than HoW Red Death? = Because the other top weapons got nerfed and now it got bumped up to #1 meta..

1 ReplyOnly seen 2 conspiracy theory D's yesterday. What I seen running rampant was year 2 party crashers. Wish they rented server's like battle field. Would love to play some sidearms only matches or matches without shotguns.

Bungie had a genius idea of handing out the best shotgun for pvp especially when they new shotpackage was being removed.... But to be fair they also handed out a really nice 1k stare and a bodyshot sniper from the gunsmith.

That's crazy it says you haven't even played Iron Banner...maybe I am looking at something else. But the "power curve" definitely doesn't exist.

Shotguns will be used at close range. Titans will be sunbreakers. People will use red death, people will use a khvostov. It's the players, not the game.

Just don't let the shotguns get close to you. And watch at for the slides they will get you.

1 ReplyEdited by umo: 10/15/2015 8:16:53 PMdunno what your problem is. im a shotgun user since - basically - ever! and the nerf can be felt quite heavily. you now have to be really close to get one shot kill and this is what bungie wanted: no "felwinters lie 10 meter in front of you insta kill"-thing anymore. in that they succeeded. obviously this doesnt mean that shotguns dont do any damage anymore. if you actually thought so you really must be a guy from another world ^^ this is just stupid

High impact shotguns should have less range then low impact shotguns. Period.

It's a shotgun. Its also pretty much the only decent shotgun left in the game so of course people are going to use it. It's given as a quest item, and everyone can choose it with the exact same perks. Don't see what the issue is?
