How Bungie Destroyed Destinys econmy AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!
Who ever at bungie thinks this is a good idea to make motes of light and strange coins almost impossible to obtain NEEDS TO BE FIRED. They were already difficult enough to get a hold of as it is now you have to grind more just to keep up with things. This game is more work every time a DESTINY DESTRUCTION PACK IS RELEASED.
Addedium: I dont care if you bungie paid fools dont like what i have to say but if you even listened to the community even once we would not complain. So take your dislike and go somewhere else that is your speed like COD.

Edited by kyuubi_clone: 10/30/2015 10:53:35 PMmotes can be easily acquired by doing bounties, vanguard patrol missions, daily events, playing crucible (depending on your rep), faction rewards from all factions (including Vanguard), doing any strikes playlist, any and all daily events (including CoO), daily heroics, nightfall, Prison of elders (any level). not to mention the odd enemy that may drop one for you randomly. so there you have it. by playing all these activities in any order nets you a tonne of strange coins and motes of light every week. usually arounf 100-150 in total...depends on how much you grind. if you play for 2-4 hours a day you should be golden... my stack of 3 of Coins usually hovers around 70 by the time Xur comes back - and i use them almost religiously (meaning every time it wears off i put one back on). every week i start with around a little over 130 - 3 of coins and i make enough to replenish that supply every week without hassle.

9 RepliesOn average each week, I collect around 150 motes and 100 strange coins. This is with my school and work schedule. So I'm not sure what your doing wrong, but your definitely screwing up somewhere.

Not to be rude, but you're doing something wrong. I only play on the weekend. (Exception being special events like this week. Festival of the Lost to OP to resist, lol) And I make more than enough motes and coins. Not as many as I used to, granted. Nevertheless I still make plenty.

Idk what your talking about, they are easier to get now, and poe level 28 gives u a ton, and that only takes 20 minutes. Also, coins and motes should be hard to get, as they upgrade gear and buy EXOTICS WHICH SHOULDN't BE HANDOUTS

I barely play anymore and can get enough coins to buy an item from Xur in the two days he is there. I've got over 70+ motes so idk what you're doing wrong

3 RepliesStrange coins difficult? I've been getting more strange coins now than before TTK. I get around 30+ per week without much problem. You just need to make the Cryptarch happy. Motes of light are also easy to get. The real problem is with weapon parts that is something you use loads of to infuse and upgrade weapons and are now dropping in pretty small quantities.

I make more strange coins now than I did before. I don't do nightfall, strike or heroics. I get them all through bounties and engrams. I make roughly 30 a week min and I only ever play weekends for a few hours. Before ttk I only really made 3-7 a week with at play style. Hate to see how many I could make if I had more time at my disposal or no life lol.

Well when you hit lvl 40 you can keep levelling up and every time you do you get 5 motes

4 RepliesWhat u talking about??? I make over 300 motes a week at least. From old raid runs levelling my XP bar or as a random reward o a strike or what not. And I get strange coins from engrams packages or even prison of elders Your obviously doing something wrong, maybe standing in tower all day doesn't help you get them.

4 RepliesGot to say I agree. Especially the weapon parts they messed up badly. They are already hard enough to get and I have to say I am mad. Increase is fine but way more reductions than a single boost means a reduction that is crazy! I was able to get about 100 coins a week and now I will be lucky to get 60. That was from casual play so what will I really see?

They've listened to the community a bunch of times and if you don't care to recognize that it's your problem. You can get coins and motes from (most of?) the same ways as before, just fewer at a time now. It's still reliable, just slower.
