In the update they mention nerfing the yield of weapon parts
When has anyone ever said amount of weapon parts from dismantling items is hurting the game in any way????????
update 10/19: lots of great posts and ideas below- also good to see some potentially good news in the weekly update last week about weapon parts amounts getting re-adjusted.

2 RepliesYep. Complete joke. Weapon parts are already scarce as it is. If materials show up as micro transactions in Destiny, I'm done. I'll find another game to play because I'm not going to support garbage development like that.
-
An odd change to make.. still don't know I feel about it till I get a look at outputs first hand.

1 ReplyEdited by Darches: 10/14/2015 2:22:57 AMAt this rate I'll have to dismantle my whole damn collection of old guns. Which will decrease my attachment to the game, and only further solidify the idea that my efforts to become legend have been in vain, making it easier to quit. Is that what you want, Bungie? Now I'll certainly never buy silver. I'm not supporting these kinds of updates.

Bump. I am struggling so hard with weapon parts now since I've been infusing all my weapons. I didn't have much when ttk started cuz of rerolling. This change was definitely one of the most pointless changes they've made and it just made those struggling suffer even more. Bungie I'll see you in Court! (Court of Oryx that is cuz I need the engrams)
-
1 ReplyBungie don't want competition when they start to sell weapon parts for silver
-
Nerfed strange coins too don't forget. Bungie - "nerf everything that will make them play hours longer!"
-
1 ReplyAfter this patch you will get 1 weapon part for exotics 1/2 for legendaries 1/4 for rares 1/8 for greens and none for commons

37 RepliesI hardly ever complain,but i would like to deliver a nice message to bungie. _______________$$$$$ ______________$$____$$ ______________$$____$$ ______________$$____$$ ______________$$____$$ ______________$$____$$ __________$$$$$$____$$$$$$ ________$$____$$____$$____$$$$ ________$$____$$____$$____$$__$$ $$$$$$__$$____$$____$$____$$____$$ $$____$$$$________________$$____$$ $$______$$______________________$$ __$$____$$______________________$$ ___$$$__$$______________________$$ ____$$__________________________$$ _____$$$________________________$$ ______$$______________________$$$ _______$$$____________________$$ ________$$____________________$$ _________$$$________________$$$ __________$$________________$$ __________$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Good day.

5 RepliesBy the way, Bungie - there's still no sound in the Prison of Elders... if you could just take a few minutes away from making everything unpleasant, and look into that... yeah... that'd be great....
-
2 RepliesWe deserve an explanation as to why Bungie felt it necessary to nerf weapon parts. If the introduction of Silver isn't enough evidence that highlights the ultimate direction, I seriously have nothing else to say. I am not EVER buying any Silver and I believe the majority of this community feels the same way. Bungie must see Destiny as a gold mine and anticipates us to "throw money at our screens." Halo anyone? Battlefront perhaps?
-
1 ReplyIf you kept receiving so many weapons parts and motes and coins... You'd have no incentive to buy them with silver.
-
Wtf!!
-
I have about 60 weapon parts. The grind is even realer now. I have to run the stupid repetitive strikes to get parts every day to keep up. Thanks Bungie!
-
game is going to shit
-
They need to sell weapon parts for marks. I am always running out of parts. If faction rep was the issue way did Bungie not just remove that option from the faction vendors. But no! They decided to decrease all weapon part drops. (Slams head into wall repeatedly). BUNGIE LOGIC!

-
The only reason to do this is if they are planning on selling them; perhaps for silver light...pay-to-play$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I only have 3 to my name

8 RepliesEdited by Coyote_x_Starrk: 10/14/2015 12:13:40 PMCouldn't possibly be that they are adjusting the drop rate so that people can't speed level their factions in order to spam gear. Thats just too obvious....they obviously are trying undermine all of us. They are determined that no fun shall be allowed.
its called balancing people
-
4 RepliesThey also capped legendary marks if anyone noticed. You can only get a certain amount during the week.

Edited by Otz Chieem: 10/15/2015 6:22:38 AMI smell micro transactions I will never buy strange coins motes of light or marks as well as weapon parts for real money. I really hope that's out there doing I too am having issues with weapon parts because I spent so many on rerolls. Damn Siri edit

3 RepliesWhats funny is people ask for it to be sold by banshee and you get 'we are hearing you'. This is then followed by the complete opposite. It means two things. Bungie are as dumb as -blam!-, or micro transactions. I will eat Marmite (can't stand the stuff) if it's anything else.
-
I wish they could use all those people they have hired to actually sit down and think. Logically. Put aside their gathered hate for the gamers of destiny, and Let us rejoice and enjoy our destiny experience. Stack up those resources. Maybe have enough to donate to our factions. Silly bungie. Head up the ass foot out the mouth. Like a bass akwards money throwing bananas and eating poop

15 RepliesThis nerf is mind boggling because of the amount of people saying they were out of weapon parts before TTK even came out.

Straight bullshlt. This is another serious fvck up.
