You can spend your money however you want, though the fact that you do only encourages this type of useless shit being sold and will most likely lead to more, less cosmetic items being sold down the road. For me the dick move they pulled with the carlton and slow clap made my decision easy, they could have easily given people 500 silver, but they had to lock us out of emotes on the very first day if we didn't spend real money, that type of blatant greed doesn't deserve my money.
