Um, he did kill yor. Yor died. No self rez, no nothing. He had no ghost to revive him. while he was certainly not light, the dark did not accept him either

Ooh, new PVP gametype perhaps? -Duel- Handcannons only, no grenades, no melee abilities, just you and your gun. 1v1 only, best 2-out-of-3, any deaths cause the spawn to reset. Sword variation would be nice too.

And the guys on deck are in a nearby area overlooking the arena with "social area" rules, no weapons. Just watch and taunt each other. lol

I like the idea but the matches would be so short it would end pretty quickly, and only increase the time it takes to get a match going.
