Bungie should implement shaders for different corresponding sexualities.

I cant help but think the OP is trolling for comments on a topic he/she obviously knew would draw attention. Lets all stop posting and this thread will go away.

Edited by DeltaZulu77: 10/18/2015 6:33:52 PMHow do colors have a sexuality? Why is it so important to advertise yours? If you need to do that, aren't there enough rainbow looking shaders in the game? Aside from that, I'm not really sure what would qualify as a gay shader or a straight shader. When TTK dropped, my awoken hunter was pretty fab looking with his VIP cloak and purple shader.

1 ReplyEdited by Winged Crusade: 10/14/2015 6:53:08 PMNah. I'm bisexual and I don't give a shit. Nobody needs to know, it's a game. Shut up and shoot things. Nobody's gonna care if you're flyin' the damn -godwinslaw!- flag when you get mowed down, you'll be shot down all the same. Although you might be made a beacon if you wear that flag... Eheh... Oh boy..

I have to disagree.

1 ReplyThat's the most stupid thing I've heard all day... And further to that, your idea goes against most of the messages of equality that the lgbt+ community are trying to promote these days. Although a Titan dressed like this would be rather amusing... link

Umm why? Also -blam!- no, where's my straight shader?
-
14 RepliesAs an open and proud homosexual; HELL NO! The thing I love about destiny is that you're part of a team and a much larger community. No one is divided by race, sexuality, religion or creed. We're all here to kick alien ass (and the occasional guardian in crucible). There are plenty of things such as marriage equality etc that people are passionate and still have strong feelings about, and to me, asking for something specifically for gays such as 'gay shaders' seems to be very divisive.... I don't hear anyone calling for straight shaders, or specific colour coordinated religious shaders. Just seems very unnecessary and will just cause more trouble than it's worth.

Thats a good idea and i support this (Mainly bc im part of one of those "invisible" sexualities) ace for life!!
-
1 ReplyWhat color is a gay person? A trans? A straight? Anybody can use any shader. Sounds like equality to me.
-
2 RepliesWhat the -blam!- does that even mean?
-
They already have pink shaders
-
1 ReplyYou're a mothetfuc king idiot
-
That would be too controversial. I'm a strong supporter of LGBT rights but trust me it's not a good idea.
-
-blam!- what
-
I should get a shader for how often I need to click the mute button. Like.. seriously? There are so many reasons as to why that's a bad idea.
-
2 RepliesPC Principal. Paging PC Principal. Maybe we should have a Bruc...err...Caitlyn Jenner shader, also?
-
4 RepliesAll the shaders look gay already
-
And the hetero shaders? STFU. Go run some questlines or patrols.
-
WTF! Colors aren't sexual dumbass.
-
That's not fair, why can't I have heterosexual exclusive shaders? Get the -blam!- out of here.
-
18 RepliesIt's cool they have a gay class in the game(Titan). But I think they should make it more obvious to newcomers or make titans being gay optional. Change name Titan to Fairy. They float like fairies and like men in their bubbles. Petition to change Titan name to Fairy.
-
Lololololololololol and you should stop playing this game
-
Rainbow?

3 RepliesEdited by RadioYouth: 10/13/2015 10:28:57 AM
the straights
Look, I understand that the LGBT community goes through a lot a shit and it's because of this they are proud to say: "Aye, I'm gay and I don't give a -blam!- of what you think of me." That's cool and great, this however seems wildly inappropriate and introduces sectionalism amongst this community. Like there wasn't enough anyway, right? Who gives a -blam!- if you're gay? Why do you need to present what gender you like to -blam!- to everybody? Being "gay" isn't some sort of personality trait or social group: it's just your sexuality and I have no business knowing what your sexuality is if I don't know you. If sexualities get a shader, why don't races and religions get one? Your argument is that this game is a form of self-expression. Those are also forms of expression. In short, I don't think this is a good idea. It'll open up discrimination and then what do we do?
