Etheric Light...
BIG EDIT: DeeJ confirmed Petra will have a use for Etheric Light from December.
Has everyone just forgotten about Etheric Light? Bungie said they would think about what to do with it in Y2. I have loads sat in my vault.
Please let us use it like motes. For rep or experience!!! Or trade it for motes.
Edit: people are mentioning strange coins. I would be happy for that too.
It seems like people think that this would be a good exchange rate:
1 Etheric Light = 10 Motes of Light
1 Etheric Light = 20 Strange Coins
Another suggestion is for it to add 1 Light per Etheric light to a weapon or piece of armour. Maybe cap this at 300?

Absolutely preposterous there is no way that Activision would allow that. 1 ReplyEtheric light in year one should increase Xp gains or make infusion guaranteed to get the full attack/defense stat from let's say 250->310 and use Ethiric light to get 310 not 290 or something.

9 RepliesJust like the Fatebringer, Vex not everything comes to year 2. When you read the comments with people stating they have 50-100 it's for good reason that these can't be redeemed for something critical to game progress. At best I'd offer you some Runes from Eris: 2 light = 1 reciprocal 5 light = 1 stolen 10 light = 1 antiquated Coupled with ToC you might get an exotic or a couple of legendary. Otherwise maybe the speaker could give glimmer for them.
