Etheric Light...
BIG EDIT: DeeJ confirmed Petra will have a use for Etheric Light from December.
Has everyone just forgotten about Etheric Light? Bungie said they would think about what to do with it in Y2. I have loads sat in my vault.
Please let us use it like motes. For rep or experience!!! Or trade it for motes.
Edit: people are mentioning strange coins. I would be happy for that too.
It seems like people think that this would be a good exchange rate:
1 Etheric Light = 10 Motes of Light
1 Etheric Light = 20 Strange Coins
Another suggestion is for it to add 1 Light per Etheric light to a weapon or piece of armour. Maybe cap this at 300?

How about etheric light is worth 25 weapon parts. I bet you see more people running PoE then!

No no no, that's not how it works. You can spend 10 lights and 10 weapon parts for 10 points towards your rep. Or if you spend 500 silver you can use 5 of each 2 times. Go ahead, throw your money at the screen.

This is a good idea. I have over 30 sitting in the vault collecting dust. I think i've down skolas at least 20 times, sucks that etheric light is useless now

1 ReplyEtheric light is too easy to get, not worth 10 or 20 motes or coins. Maybe 5 coins. Or exp/rep. 10 coins per week via etheric light (lvl 34 and 35) would make up for weekly heroic not giving the coins anymore.
