In my opinion, they should give it more ammo. That way, it won't affect the way it performs, we can just use it more.

The first shot does 2x more damage than now. Also each shot that connects as a crit splits into 5 projectiles that track nearby targets and each splitter projectile does 1/3 of the original shot damage Example Let's say each shot at the moment hits an ultra at 15,000. With the following theoretical buff The first shot now would hit for 30,000 (each projectile would hit for 10,000) If no extra targets are around the ultra would receive a total of 80,000 damage on the first shot) Next shot would hit 60,000 (each splitted projectile would hit for 20,000) No extra targets found, the ultra would take 160,000 damage + 80,000 (first shot) = 240,000 total damage) The 3rd shot would hit for 120,000 (each projectile would hit for 40,000) 40,000x5 = 200,000 + 120,000 = 320,000 + 240,000 (from the previous two crit shots) = 560,000 4th shot: 240,000 (80,000 per splitted projectile) 80,000x5 = 400,000 + 240,000 = 640,000 + 560,000 (from the previous 3 shots) = 1,200,000 Final shot: 480,000. (180,000 per splitted projectile) 180,000x5 = 900,000 +480,000 = 1,380,000 + 1,200,000 (previous 4 shots) = [b]2,580,000 total damage output without weapons of Light or tethering. [/b] We would finally have our year 2 Gjallarhorn successor. Keep in mind Sleeper Simulant does around 20,000 per shot with Weapons of Light or Tethering 20,000x7= 140,000 on an ultra at the moment.

Perk: Stable Malfunction Rounds have a chance to burst fire(up to three) using only one ammo. All rounds ricochet off of hard surfaces before leaving a delayed explosion where they land.

5 RepliesUsed it to down oryx. Only had to pop heavy one time . 20k damage a shot with 305 S'S 4 snipes auto load switch to S's fire switch back fire.

A blast radius and instead of bouncing it goes through enemies/walls etc OR If you get consecutive hits with the Laser a super strong laser shoots down from a satellite in space on to your target (Hammer of Dawn)

Make the mag size bigger than replace hip fire with a perk: each consecutive precision shot decreases charge time. (Stacks) [spoiler]first thing to come to mind[/spoiler]

Omni-blast -- while aiming down sights, target mark up to 5 targets or back and forth between a few up to 5 ricochet hits for the shot. Hip fire still rolls random but seeks a target. Momentum recharge -- movement recharges your reserve ammo. Perk is null in crucible.

Tracking ricochet rounds is probably the best bet, but that would be hard if it doesn't ricochet near anything. As it stands ricochet rounds has never been a very beneficial perk.

I think the hip fire perk should be replaced and a bigger ammo clip and carry ammo and the ricochet change that too to something more useful but its still a good gun to use just need a buff and needs a buff now cause when Necro came out in Crota raid it was suppose to be competing with the Vex and it took them FOREVER to finally buff auto rifles and when they did ncero started to shine like crazy but it was short lived when TTK droped please dont make this weapon a trophy weapon and not get its use DEEJ COZMO if your reading this please give this weapon its full potential and not let it be a dust collecter in the vaults

18 second recharge rate to reserves with an insanely slow reload. Or more reserve ammo.

I personally don't think it's "complete". Sure we have the weapon, but I feel like there's going to be another set of steps that only the best of players will be able to accomplish (hopefully) to unlock its full power. I think this mostly cause of the guns description where it says the Ikelos system is complete and the other is incomplete.
