Go ahead show me 1 video of shotguns having ridiculous range. Go ahead i will wait.
The excuse is thrown around all the time yet nobody has been able to show 1 video of these "sniper" shotguns. 1 video is all it takes and I will never defend them again and admit I was wrong. Shotguns are designed to reign supreme in close quarters and that's exactly how they perform. So go ahead prove me wrong on this and show me an example of this "sniper" range

So I guess you guys can't back up all the crying after all. Look at all the replies and not a single video other then shotguns working as intended in close range encounters with people literally only a few steps away from each other. Since you can't back up your claims here is my response

For all the crying you guys do about shotguns you would think at least 1 video of shotguns working outside of close range would be posted. Not 1 video in almost 1000 posts. Oh that's right the videos of the close range kills that got posted are definitive proof that shotguns are working outside of close range.

No video needed - universal remote - aim and squeeze and you'll see - make sure a few pellets hit the crit zone . Also pre nerf my fell winter scoped even farther than universal aimed in. I don't know how fell winter reacts now post nerf I'm not playing crucible yet cuz I'm not bored with PvE

Your video seems that do a great job proving that they have too much range yourself.

People never mass complained about the shotgun in the previous Halos having too much range. It was a 1 shot kill within a couple feet and no more. That's how shotguns should have been in Destiny.

A single head shot with my scout rifle should kill you. A single chest shot with my high caliber round sniper should kill you. My explosive round guns should hurt a lot. Now would this be fun?

What is your reasoning for posting this, shot package is already gone lol, there's no petitioning needed. Even if there was the one guy you would need to convince has already stated on crucible radio, planet destinys podcast, that shot package is op, so you have already lost lol.

Ok even in that video you showed its ridiculous the range he is hitting people at the guy on burning shrine in the tunnel and just jumping across one shooting I love shot guns but it needs to be a little less range in all honesty you can see a big problem with some shot guns

Honestly I'm ready for another shot gun nerf I put mine away when they said they were nerfing again and it made me realize just how bad the usage of shot guns are. Although instead of nerfing I think fusion rifles and side arms should get a buff to make then a better alternative.
