Touch of Malice was cake SS was even easier. I got touch like day 3 or 4 of the raid and I got a 310 SS within 20 mins of the daily reset. Hardly any effort was needed for either of these "rare" weapons. They should make a weapon that requires you to solo a bunch of difficult tasks in order to get it. Does anyone else agree?
Edit: for all you people saying chaperone. This post is intended for the pve part of the game.

The only thing I really worked hard on was the exotic sword quest and I'd say I spent a total of 2 hours on it
-
2 RepliesWhere did it say they were rare?
-
2 RepliesIf you can sit here and honestly say you found all those 45 calcified fragments yourself and didn't look up any other parts of any of the quests then I would say your argument is valid. I don't see that being the case so I would say if you want the challenge then actually do it without looking it up and see how long it takes.

Exotic swords i haven't even done em yet

Spindle

2 RepliesThat's absolutely stupid. Destiny is based on playing with friends, you do realize the only reason you can solo anything in this game is cause it's scaled. Leave the ideas to the game developer kid. A side note I do agree good weapons should be more difficult though but you can't even begin to make judgment on the weapons not being hard enough cause the new trials and ib weapons aren't out yet and no one knows how hard they could be to get, especially the trials ones cause they completely re worked trials and getting flawless is gonna be harder.

Look out...
...we got a badass over here!
1 ReplyEdited by Devasstator: 10/8/2015 2:50:55 PMAgreed that they need to add some challenging content, but don't agree it should all be solo.

1 ReplyYou'd probably still be stuck at the codes part of the SS quest without the solutions being plastered all over the Internet for you.

1 ReplyOP is getting murdered lololol

1 ReplyEdited by SkintightJeebers: 10/8/2015 3:10:24 PMJudging by your stats, if Bungie made a challenging weapon to obtain you would be on here crying because you don't have the skill to get it.
Calm yourself, child
2 RepliesEdited by Ace: 10/8/2015 3:14:50 PMYea ummm you definitely would be one of the kids crying on the forums in anything pvp related... Stats are horrible still haven't got the chaperone... So if anything I'd stay quiet if I were a scrub like you

1 ReplySolo first curse and black spindle. Those sound challenging

Difficulty is subjective. We've seen what their idea of difficult is, and it's not a good design for this game. The subclasses aren't equipped to deal with it very well, and the enemies just aren't varied enough for it to be engaging imo. I do wish there were more puzzles though. I might pay attention to the details in every mission of they flesh them out better. But Touch of Malice feels very meh I feel like I'll probably only be using it during King's Fall.

1 ReplyEdited by JSepe: 10/8/2015 6:16:07 PMThey made it challenging before. Everyone whined and bitched so they made it easy and straight forward. Still everyone whines and bitches. They can't win so it doesn't matter. And not to mention, without using the guide on reddit for the fragments or the guide on redit for the sleeper such as the codes and such, these quests wouldn't be cake.

Lol have fun getting the chaperone buddy
