To start this is my old ps3 account, I play ps4 now 😊.
When Luke smith said I see people wearing keep calm and gjhallarhorn shirts I hope to see people wearing keep calm and Touch of Malice shirts.
Everyone got hyped for it, but in my opinion it didn't live up to any special standards. Don't get me wrong its a great gun but nothing that Awesome. Do you know what I mean?
What is you guy's opinions was it over hyped?

Edit: I do have it. I haven't used it much though.... Looks like I need to use it more. Might even just be my play style.
Edit: Lots of people share my opinion (basically) and lots dont 👍
Edit: From what I am seeing everyone says its great for the raid but what else? I cant see using it in the strikes seeing as you are at half health almost the whole fight. At least at the bosses and being able to do more damage doesn't take priority over staying alive in my opinion
Edit: You guys have to take Inaccount that it takes HP away add that to the fact that you are most likely taking damage from a boss or add.

7 RepliesI haven't got ToM yet. Still looking for the fragments. I'm going to look up guides. Found 13 so far. I need 45, right?
-
It would he better if it healed you after every kill instead of every 3
-
Yes it is. The only raid weapon that was epic was the Mythoclast.
-
Great for daughters and oryx Looks awesome Unique exotic perk The hype train is all about SS anyway
-
It melts people in the crucible

Edited by StiviX: 10/7/2015 7:09:22 PMIf you suck at multi tasking you won't be able to use it proficiently. Drop to one round, dps strike bosses, clear adds to get health back, repeat.
-
Nothing is better for daughters and oryx. But besides that it's meh
-
If you are really careful and smart with the gun, it's power AF, I've been dominating Mayhem Rumble with it.
-
5 RepliesMost situational exotic in the game.
-
You should raid with a group with all ToM. Holy -blam!- the dps is real
-
The stability when draining health is god awful. That and I can do without the full auto. Full auto on scouts have always put me off.
-
I don't really think so. The simulant will be overhyped though. Bosses are usually fought in open spaces so bouncing projectiles don't seem that great. But we'll see what happens.
-
Super beast for the raid.... Outside it's subpar. But that's okay because 90% of exotics now are situational and the ToM is made to be beast in the raid... And it is beast in the raid. So they did a really good job with it... Great raiding gun

1 ReplyIt's the single best gun in the game for a Defender.
-
It's amazing if you know how to use it. In the sisters or oryx cp you don't need to know how to use it. You just point and hold the trigger. But if you upgrade it to its full extent, if you can get quick kills with it, which isn't hard, you can refill your health while you lose it.
-
May not be that great right at this moment, but I'm interested in how it'll be in hardmode Kings Fall.
-
Is it good? Yes for exactly the one purpose in the raid. Is it Ghorn level exotic? It wishes it was, but in no way is. It isnt even a close matchup.
-
It's really for Oryx and Daughters but Titan's Blessing gets taken first before it so it may have its uses where you need major damage and could use a bubble rotation. Idk if it procs in Pvp, haven't tested, but it could be good if a team knew what to do with it for Trials. Most likely it's a raid weapon or to goof around on. ToM owner
-
It's only good in the raid, but it's god damn exceptional in the raid. It makes getting though with bad lfg teams a whole lot easier. Glad we have something like this now.
-
It's work perfect by using it the right way. Like everyone saying deathsinger sisters and dps oryx since you don't lost health. In between that with adds and what not just use it in a smart way. But honestly it's easily replace with other guns that I would rather use.
-
I won't use it for anything other than the sisters and Oryx.

Its wrong, as you take 0 damage inside the bubble from anything.

Edited by mentalyentil: 10/7/2015 6:15:48 PMIt's perfect that a weapon you can only get from the raid is the most efficient gun for the final raid boss. What else would you want from it really? I still use it in other content. It helped me get my alts through the story bosses super quickly, you just have to be a bit mindful of your surroundings and health bar. (It's able to be equipped at level 30)

4 RepliesEdited by Psychedelia: 10/7/2015 5:44:41 PMI love it. Not overhyped at all. If you are always at half health, you're doing it wrong.
-
1 ReplyYou know it doesn't take away health inside the relic bubble? Meaning you fire at Oryx continuously at increased damage while grenades are being activated, up until he drops below map?
-
It has its place. It's a beast in the raid.
