Why did the first firewall mission only appeared now?
I dont know of any triggers or even clues indicating you had to wait, was it just so that ppl wouldn't get it immediately or wat?

The 7th of course. But with the way that mission was put together I truly believe that there is a crippling bug that cut anything that made the quest make sense. What we got was a workaround that Bungie will never admit is a workaround.

1 ReplyThey wanted to spread out play time. Most people have played through the raid and all the new content already, so now everyone pretty much devoted their time to finding the hidden secrets in the game. They had to release the quest eventually, or people would get pissed. I bet that once we finish the sleeper quest, give it a few weeks, and all of a sudden we will find a quest or something that leads to no time to explain

Is there a way to tell how many fusion rifle relics you have turned into the gunsmith?

Yes. They didn't want people having the most powerful exotic from the start. Plus they need a way to keep you playing longer.

1 ReplyMaybe bungie was waiting till a certain percentage of people had the four fusion rifles to unlock it. Maybe it was timed. Maybe it was glictched and they just now unlocked it. Maybe there were clues that said October 7th but the community didn't find them. Who knows.

I'm willing to bet it's simply going to be a timed locked item, as long as you did everything leading up to the current objective, which will probably go on for the next month or so

Bungie loves 7. Anyone else notice a trend with the strange missions / exotic quests? I'm pretty sure the black spindle was only available on armsdays and now this one starts up on armsday too. Coincidence?

Rasputin's transmission said it was going to land today and to standby for further instructions. The transmission was decoded last Armsday saying in 7 cycles (7days) that something was going to happen.
